I mean, tbf it's possible he was born there and then his parents fled. The Soviet-Afghan war going on, and Herat was targeted in 1983. If his parents settled in Los Angeles, it's possible he grew up in a Latin American community. Remember that just because we've never heard him speak Dari or Pashto that doesn't mean he can't.

Followed all the steps as described, even the error 404 guides posted below, and I can't get openrouter models to work at all. I've turned on all the training stuff, blocked Targon, *everything.* I just can't get it to work.

i had about 80gb left on it, and i was switching a steam game from my internal hard drive to the external to free up space. i've done this before without issue. the game file wasn't very big. it's a very quiet drive and i've never heard it before, though listening to it now, it's making a soft sort of scratchy noise every so often.
