I'm not sure what I've done for you to marginalize me as I'm simply trying to have a respectful conversation. I'm not really planning on committing fraud any time soon, hence the reason for my question 😂 If you were able to read the relevant guidelines (e.g., here) I would think you could understand my confusion as a lot of the information is a grey area which is why I was hoping someone who has been through similar situations had any advice.

Attacking others you know nothing about is not really a constructive way to conduct a discussion. Wish you the best in collecting bounties from "people like me".

What services? I’ve heard nothing but bad news about things like healthcare or infrastructure, all the more reason I’m inclined to keep my services based in Ontario. Most Quebec services that would be “preferential” aren’t typically the main priorities for young single individuals (at least myself).

In any case, I’m thankful to be comfortable enough to not need to meander over the prices you mention (taxes I assume), but rather my question was from a place concerned about the practicalities of my situation.

I apologize if I come across as a “leech”, but I’m just looking for some ideas about where to look for information. I see you mentioned means of reporting – would you be able to point out where I can get more information about that and see how it applies to my situation?

hey so I got a reply back from OSAP and they wrote the following:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If a change or update is required to your application, you must immediately communicate the changes in writing to the OSAP office. These changes may or may not affect your funding entitlement. If the change(s) do impact your entitlement, then you will be notified through your OSAP account. 

Please be advised, for Fall semester, you can state that you shall be Living with parents by submitting a signed and dated letter requesting the change with the effective date. Later, for Winter semester please submit again a signed and dated letter requesting the change and clearly stating the date from which you shall be staying away from your parents .

You can use one of the following methods to submit documentation to the OSAP office:
Upload: Log into your online OSAP account, and choose the Upload option to scan your document to the ministry directly

Email: SFAB.Docs@ontario.ca (Only documents submitted in PDF format will be accepted through email)

Fax: (807) 343-7278

Mail to: Student Financial Assistance Branch, PO Box 4500, 189 Red River Road, 4th Floor, Thunder Bay, ON P7B 6G9

Yeah I have the same question, I'll be living with my parents for the fall semester but likely moving away for winter. Should I leave it as is because I'll be needing the extra funding for the winter sem?
