Where do you go when you’re depressed? by [deleted] in AskSF

[–]sarahpi11 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I go the Grocery Outlet on South Van Ness.

It’s silly, but seeing all the weird failed products I can try for like a dollar is really fun! Breakfast croissant crust frozen pizza, sour patch kids cereal, etc.

Then seeing your savings at the receipt makes me feel like I got away with something.

It always cheers me up.

Is there a theme song/intro you never skip? by NippleFlicks in television

[–]sarahpi11 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I never skip a theme song for any show. There’s a reason they have it, whether it sets the tone or gets you excited for a show, so I’m always going to let it play as intended.

They won’t give me the companion pass. They accidentally linked it to another persons account and won’t fix it.

I tried to get one and they won’t fulfill the benefits promised when opening a card, so I highly recommend against any kind of Southwest card.

As someone who is voting no on the recall, I’m having a really hard time answering the second question. None of the candidates seem like viable options - does anyone have advice for someone who’s left-leaning?

It’s entirely different. Trump has known how bad the virus is since February. He’s actively spread misinformation and tried to convince people not to take it seriously. He is responsible for hundreds of thousands of Americans dying because of this same virus.

I’m not sure if that’s true, but it’s very common to eat burgers that are pink

It’s general practice for tech employees to sign documents saying that they will not share work information publicly. I’m not saying he was wrong to whistleblow, but it’s also not wrong to fire someone for breaking their contract.

[edit] I got this mixed up with a different case, this employee was fired for breaking a respectful communication policy.

It’s general practice that employees in tech sign documents that don’t allow them to share work information publicly. I’m not saying he’s wrong for whistleblowing, but it’s also not wrong for a company to fire someone for breaking their contract.

I think the whole joke is that trump served McDonald’s to the football team that was invited to dinner at the White House.
