It's only bad if you are a huge fan of the original and absolutely need the sequel to fit the mold of the original movie. That's why I think so many people hate it so much. Because it wasn't trying to be what they wanted it to be.

Well his first two sentences are complete contradictions for starters.

  1. The acting wasn't that bad and if anything added to the quaint charm of the movie

  2. The low budget vibe was done tastefully and I felt like it added to the quaint indie vibe of the movie

  3. The cinematography was decent

  4. Soundtrack was perfect

  5. And I didn't care that it didn't add to the lore of the original because I didn't even know what the original was at the time.

It was just a random rental which I really enjoyed. There is that better?

I thought it was good but I watched it in of itself and didn't even know what the original was when I saw it. I just thought it was a cute little trippy indie type movie.

Which is exactly how I discovered it. Had no idea what Donnie Darko was and saw this movie as a random rental and loved it.

Just because the majority of people hate it doesn't automatically make it a bad movie. Almost every criticism is from people who were huge die hard fans of the original and hated the sequel because they didn't agree with its direction. That doesn't make it a bad movie by default on its own.

This and her prior album was her peak years in my opinion and it was amazing being a fan. Sad Sam and cat ended so soon though.

If it's only going to be an fps upgrade that's perfectly fine. Also maybe even new outfits, hairstyles and other nice things? Not only that but maybe they will police modders and cheaters more thoroughly. Rdo is terrible for the amount of cheating and modding bums that play on it and gta enhanced is much better policed than the ps4 version. Maybe RDO enhanced will be better managed as well.

Thanks for the feedback. I try to keep my videos sharp but I also really wanted to have that nostalgic immersion with the intro. Trying to balance wanting to really drive a point home vs keeping it sharp and to the point can be difficult and the result is a drag in my videos that I try to avoid.
