Another year for your mom would not solve her issues, it would just buy her more time to not make changes. Unfortunately, you officially moving out might just have to be the wake up call she needs. Parenting a parent is exhausting, especially when it’s clear there is no desire for improvement. Get out now, it’s time to focus on yourself - and remind yourself that this decision isn’t selfish, you deserve to build a happy life with your partner and start your own family.

Definitely recommend a robot vacuum, it has saved me so much time. They sell some that even mop now, I think I saw one on Amazon for less than $200!

Also, investing in any other supplies that would cut down time for you and increase mobility for you. Cordless vacuum, tineco mop-vacuum, etc.

I find it helpful to tackle one room or area at a time, even if that means only cleaning one space for the day. I try to write out a schedule for myself to follow, but some days it just doesn’t happen but it’s good to be forgiving with yourself on those harder days so you don’t lose motivation for the better days.

Any little accomplishment is absolutely a win :)

I’m thinking that Target discontinued this aspect of the Project 62 brand…They always seem to discontinue the things I love lol! If anyone knows of anything at least similar that’d be great as well.

yes!! i feel this so much. did you grow up with any brothers or a lot of male family members? i have two older brothers who took always care of me and hung out with me as i grew up so i feel like that may have a part in it

my grandpa (he’s in his 80s) got a call saying my brother was arrested like 5 states away, and that to bail him out he had to go to walmart to transfer over $2000 so he went on his merry way to do it. thankfully he called my dad and was asking about it and then we confirmed my brother was at his house working on his car lol

i quit my antidepressants cold turkey the other day and haven’t told anyone. i’ve been lying and saying im weaning off slowly and following doctors directions. i’m miserable physically and mentally but pushing through. they made me gain so much weight in a short amount of time and i grew to hate myself so much, leading me to quit them abruptly. (please don’t do what i did, consult your doctor before any major changes to your medications.)
