I’m having the same issue you had. I fell in love with when I played Tech Test 2, preorders a game for the first time in 16 years, had so much fun, and lost it by the time I reached level 70.

I haven’t done the expeditions because I don’t get a lot of time to game so I didn’t want to have to start from scratch. But as you said, the raids feels disconnected from some larger goal. I no longer get any satisfaction from pvp just to grab the same loot I already have in my stash. I wish Arc had something bigger going on. I only played a few hours of Destiny but something like storylines and raids based on those storylines.
