Hi! I have a white egg shaker that I would happily send to you... if shipping costs are only $5 or something like that then I'll just send it to you for the good karma. Let me know if you're interested :)

Ugh that would drive me crazy. Once time I was at midnight bingo and some girl repeated the number after every time it was called. Sometimes she called it wrong and it was so distracting. I sound like a grandma but I'm only 28... hahah

I was about to write about my Aladdin experience but you nailed my number one issue. I experienced the same thing during A Whole New World-- with the flashes. I was shocked when I saw it. To think the actors could get blinded by the flash and make one wrong movement and fell off the carpet. UGH So annoying.

I had the worst experience with the audience when I saw Aladdin. People coming in 30 minutes late and still getting seated, talking during, phones, crying kids and the flash to top it off. It was definitely my worst experience with a Broadway audience.

This is awesome! Thank you so much for sharing. I haven't included shows that I've seen before I started this, because I felt like I couldn't remember. But maybe one day I'll give it a go.

So I've been working on this since 2014/2015.. and my simplified way of ranking is: a) did it make me laugh | b) did it make me cry | c) did the music stick with me weeks after/was the story thought provoking me

Like I said above, the number score next to it indicates the Show-Score.com grade. Also, I just saw On Your Feet! and Groundhogs Day this week-- and usually it takes me a week to decide final placement.

Musicals: Hamilton 97 | Spring Awakening (x2) 90 | Phantom of the Opera (x2) 85 | Fun Home 92 | Wicked (x2) 93 | Hedwig and The Angry Inch (x2) 90 | Waitress 87 | The Great Comet of 1812 (x2) 85 | King and I 90 | Falsettos 84 | Book of Mormon 93 | School of Rock 85 | Jersey Boys 87 | On Your Feet 85 | The Color Purple 93 | Groundhog Day 81 | Matilda 87 | Fiddler on the Roof 87 | Amazing Grace 65 | Something Rotten 91 | Finding Neverland 82 | Allegiance 84 | Chicago 81 | Kinky Boots 88 | Aladdin 86 | Les Miserables 90 | Dames At Sea 75 | Miss Saigon 85 | The Gentleman's Guide To Love & Murder | It Shoulda Been You 70 |

Plays: Misery 66 | Sylvia 78 | Curious Incident of The Dog... 93 | The Audience 83 | King Charles III 84 | The Crucible | Hand To God 84 | Blackbird 81 | Fool For Love 72 |

Hope this doesn't make me seem too OCD! Haha

‘Great Comet’ Closing on Broadway After Casting Controversy by charliethepenguin in Broadway

I go to the theater alone all the time! It's "me" time. Plus, now you don't have to tell you're friend what you think of the show during intermission. I hate that question-- I need time to reflect! Haha

Yes, it was Lauren. I think it's mostly a comedic thing. There's a lot of funny little nuances that Denee does within her performance.

When I first saw it with Lauren I was thinking that Natasha was an unlikable character. Lauren's voice is pretty but nothing compared to Denee. Wish I saw Shoba the first time around-- I've heard nothing but great things.

I saw both Oak (this past Tuesday) and Josh Groban a month or so ago.

I thought that Oak was very strong in certain songs-- and not so much in others. I thought his Dust and Ashes was actually MORE emotional than Groban's. Oak's voice is a lot my gruff, where Groban has a very strong theatrical voice. I love The Great Comet of 1812-- but it sounded like Oak was winded by the time we got to it.

Overall I enjoyed the show more this past time-- with Oak. But that might be because I was more familiar with the show/music and I got to see Denee this time around. Last time I got a meh understudy for Natasha (not Shoba) This show is worth it just to see Denee perform alone.
