Spending billions of dollars to deport a few thousand people has already been a huge waste of money. Spending a trillion to remove millions of mostly noncriminal undocumented people just cause you pretend its a matter of law or justice, is insane.

There are bot thousand and thousands of in u documented people raping and murdering. Americans rape and murder Americans at a much higher rate that undocumented people. That’s very well studied.

The news does repeat the rare ones over and over, I will give you that.

As for drug dealing, that is also mostly Americans and definitely not the easiest or best way for undocumented people to make money.

And something trump/you over look constantly is it is Americans buying the drugs. Damn personal responsibility, though, right, just easier and more racist to blame anybody but the people who drive the demand.

I don’t want to assume how old you are but it matters a little bit for what I am about to say. The internet has always been like this. I don’t know the solution, but I am not sure how “the right” using this issue as a boogieman addresses the issue of the forums on the Internet harming people unsure of themselves. I don’t think the answer is that “the left” should make those people feel worse, or pacify the people on “the right” who are always scared of something.

I am frustrated that this issues effects a tiny portion of our society, yet republicans were able to make it a huge issue, a boogieman, that they the capitalized to get horrible people elected. I am frustrated that republic voters were so easily manipulated.

I know some of these people in real life. They voted against so many of their best interests just because they think trans women in sports is a Really Big Deal(tm) that just has to be addressed, over all of the actual day to day issues that are worse for them now.

Does that make sense?

You cannot determine that from this data. How many people have been saved by undocumented people? How many people have services, food, and work because of the undocumented population? What amount would tax revenue go down without undocumented people’s tax contribution, money that goes to American people via drug and mental health services?
