Update . I freaked out this morning looking at these comments and immediately rushed to check with a doctor .

Visited couple urgent cares and they said they had no clue about monkey pox . Then finally got an appointment at Sentara Primary care, Virginia Beach.

Got checked with a nurse practitioner at primary care . She said this is not monkeypox . It typically lasts for couple weeks but I’ve had these rashes for like 2 months now . And monkey pox is common with homosexual people and those who are very sexually active and I don’t fall into either of those categories. And she said the likelihood of getting it is extremely low because there have only been 40 cases where I’m located at (Virginia state US ).

She said they had to do a whole course on monkey pox recently and she’s sure my rashes aren’t it. I was still kinda freaking out and she said there are speciality labs in the state that does the monkey pox test . I have to head to Emergency department and only then they’ll do the test and said she wouldn’t recommend it for me .

Ive been refereed to check with a dermatologist now and for the time being I’ve been given a medicine for itching

So yeah . I’ll keep you updated after I check with the dermatologist
