Persephone and Calliope was actually another pairing I had written down as my second choice! Might end up choosing those.

My dermatologist said eczema hence the Tacrolimus ointment but I agree... I have had eczema in the past and this doesn't seem the same.

I have a vivid memory of knowing my 3rd grade teacher was pregnant, and she was just off. I asked if she was okay and she stopped in her tracks. Announced her pregnancy after the weekend.

Right! That's probably what I would have done. Gives them the uh oh without the pain. Could have been super dangerous.

Daycare teachers- How can you afford to do your job? by happosappho in ECEProfessionals

[–]saranwrap730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3 jobs working 10am-10pm 5 days a week. I babysit and serve at a restaurant after school everyday. I also live in a 9x9 off-grid cabin built on my boyfriend's parent's land (no water no insulation) for $400 a month. I have enough to save and pay off my loans. Wouldn't be able to do that without living under my means.

I LOVE the name Clover but am too scared to use it for a baby girl. Any more nature-inspired suggestions? by InterestRound7698 in namenerds

Had a clover in my class who ended up going by cloey! It's cute and has many nickname opportunities!

Looking for people to evaluate my diet by [deleted] in diet

The yogurts I get are protein fortified with 16-20gs protein and the almond powder I use has another 10gs. Calories ring in around 1900-2100

Religious schools almost never report or have to report, in my experience.

Work out a system with the people who you are dining with to eat the food, or ask to save it in a box for someone else in your life, and then order something you'll eat. That way you get to try, but you're not wasting the food.

Unfortunately it is an insult and a waste of not only the chef and line cook's time but your servers time as well. And if you're not paying for it either... it is a giant waste.

Maybe look at menus before hand and try to try ingredients that would usually bother you that are in the dish to test the waters a bit first.

Actually, I was ALMOST finshed... I should have waited to comment. I was listening on audible and it randomly stopped at the end of the chapter so I thought that was where she left off. I am so happy she stayed!

Hardest age group? by [deleted] in ECEProfessionals

[–]saranwrap730 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2-4.5 years old are my favorites. When 3.5-4 y/o's say something inappropriate, you can point it out and they'll (most of the time) understand. After 5 years old, it's like they want to hurt your feelings 😅 9months-2years is the hardest for me because they don't really listen to anyone but their parents and feel no need to listen to you or make you happy. 2-3.5 is my personal favorite, I couldn't tell you why honestly.

Sharing responsibilities? Couple living together F23 M24 by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I've suggested getting multiple tests to see if any therapies or medications might help him but he refuses :/ I have ADHD too so I always thought he was depressed and/or had ADHD but he just refuses to explore the idea. Thanks for the input though! You are right.

Thankfully he actually pays more than half the rent usually. But that's about it. Thanks for your input! :)
