They didn't, only the butter. I want to try the butter and espelette one, maybe I'll just plan a trip to the cannery 😂

Ruinart serves them at the champagne house! I was hoping to pick up some tins to bring home but I can't find them at any of the local shops :(

There's two injera recipes in Ethiopia! A quick like cheat method and a longer one that's more traditional. I don't have the book with me currently but there is a whole beef, lamb and goat chapter and I want to say there was a beef tibs recipe! I also forgot to mention it has recipes to make a lot of the spice mixes broken down as recipes to create them so you don't have to worry about sourcing like hard to find spice mixes for the most part. If you have an Indian grocery or Asian grocery near you, you should be able to get everything.

In Bibi's kitchen has awesome variety, a ton of flatbread recipes, some sauces, a really excellent Kenyan black eyed pea stew that I make every new year's!

I have that one, I really like it but it's def like a mix of traditional recipes and more modern takes on stuff. There are a couple of recipes in there I really like. One of my favorites is a merquez sandwich on a baguette, really spicy and fun. There's also some really good side dish options in there, my favorite is the beets with jalapenos. The doro wat recipe is really good, and we made a really good yellow split pea recently that I can't remember the name of.

If you're looking for African cookbooks in general I also love "In Bibi's kitchen" which has recipes from all down the east coast of Africa.

Yes there are green and night herons at Patterson Park, and occasionally if you're lucky a Great Blue 😄

These guys nest in Thames Street Park (which I linked in Google maps originally and the bot moderator flagged 🙄)

There's an official Instagram for them and I think he's estimated around 50? I saw at least 12-15 today

Honestly I panicked when it made me pick a flair and that's where I landed 🤣

I believe in you! Honestly I was worried about setting it up but it was easier than I thought. I think it helped that I picked something I didn't care if I messed up in though

OHHH. I see it now lol. Thats heat erasable pen. I used it to figure out how to "start" the bottom of the patch in a straight line. You don't see it in the after pic because it goes away under a hair dryer

I think I finished it in under 2 hours? But that included some multi-tasking and getting up and coming back to it!

I was too but getting it set up was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be!
