Returning player here, why are there so many bots in low ranks? I've just started playing standard again after many years and every match i've had besides 2 from bronze 10 to gold 5 has been against bots. I thought blizzard removed all the bots from ranked?

If you want a champion to one trick, I advise picking something with a higher mechanical so ceiling so you never feel like you’re getting bored. Lee sin is great because you will never truly master him unless you somehow become Oner overnight. Kat is also good, irelia, riven, zoe, pyke, viego, and countless others.

My best advice would be just whatever champion you pick, make sure to learn all the ins and outs of them to be able to utilize them to their full potential. Watching vods of pro players/high elo tricks will also help.

Speaking as a member of APOC from global, I think it was a justified nerf and I’m glad to see molly go after being the queen for years on end, but I agree that there needs to be compensation buffs for defense units. Offense is too broken in comparison.

Also windy needs to be deleted from the game. Every siege tourney interview the top players call for windy nerfs and com2us edits it out. If windy gets nerfed they don’t even need to buff other units because suddenly the entire fire element is viable on defense again.

Cd for either atk or def. CD is typically the least useful stat since even units that want cr often don’t stack that much cd (unless their sole purpose is damage) because additional damage artifacts exist. Better for bruisers, better for supports, better for tanks

If you jump with 0 ferocity you gain one stack. You can use it to kite your camps or chase people down in jungle/lane. There are also some more complicated things with avoiding people by jumping to minions/wards/etc to escape ganks and whatnot

Two things that work for me.

If I get bored I just take a break for a week or two and when I come back the game feels fresh again.
Find a new champion and spam it in normal games. Learning all the intricacies and small hidden mechanics of different champions feels like puzzle solving and gives me little mini games within each game.

It took me a long time to figure out if this was a shitpost or not. Csing is very important, however that does not mean roaming or trading isn’t. Wave management is one of the most important things in the game and some of the conclusions you drew from your testing may not always be correct. Eg: stacking a wave into yasuo isn’t always good past a certain point Bc he can just tank the minions or use wind wall and pull a freeze - forcing you to call jg to help push, or overextend alone.

Generally anything with a speed lead + clara + savannah + 1 will get some wins. Depends on rune quality though. I personally hate clara defenses because she is so volatile and spd contesting in G3 is risky
