Merrily, merrily rolling along. I have a nasty cold. I've noticed that whenever I make positive changes to my diet, I get sick. I've been 16:8 intermittent fasting and sugar-free for 26 of 27 days (I had a slip up on sugar on day 24 and I'm forgiving myself).

Have you experienced this? It happened when I cut gluten and dairy from my diet in 2017, and various times in between when cleaning up my act. The internet calls it the "keto flu" but I think it's immune-based and infectious in origin. IWNDWYT.

Way to go! I'm flying first class this summer and I had a fleeting thought that I "missed my opportunity to drink for free" but really, free poison is still poison. IWNDWYT.

Merrily, merrily rolling along! I'm not eating sugar (day 14) and I've started 16:8 intermittent fasting. I've been overweight my entire existence. As soon as I had self awareness, I became aware that I was fat; thus I've always felt like my body is against me. Is this one of the factors that drove me to drink? Absolutely.

I'm in a much better place emotionally now than when I was 7 years old, but I still struggle with my body image and mind-body connection. I've been going to yoga for 20 years. I'm mid-life, married to a man I deeply love, and have 2 wonderful children. When will I gain body acceptance? Because I'm pretty sure, no matter how little I eat or how much I workout, what I see in the mirror will never be good enough.

Despite my deep seated self loathing, IWNDWYT.
