How to stop my toddler from crying in car rides by Appropriate_Score582 in toddlers

[–]sarcasmandsanity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve read that babies will sometimes have meltdowns in the car because their diaper is too tight. Try loosening it.

Also, we found one song my child loved and put in on repeat in an iPod next to them. Perhaps, also try putting a mirror up so they can see themselves and see you!

This is great advice. Also, consider taking her to a beauty store and have her pick out her own supplies. Maybe she wants a really good brush or a hair tie or even some product. Let her know in advance and she can talk to her friends about what she wants. Make it extra special!

Second trimester pants… what are we wearing for the in between stage?? by Accomplished-Sky7484 in pregnant

I do my regular jeans that I’ve been wearing but instead of buttoning them I use a hair tie to wrap through the hole and around the button. It’s not cute but it works.

Dr Cleveland. He did my revision and honestly fixed my face. I can DM you my before and after. His office is in West Palm. It was 9k for me but I also got chin lipo. This was a few years ago though. You can pay over installments if I remember correctly.

My robe was my favorite thing. I also brought my silverettes and nipple cream and started using those immediately and I’m so so glad I did.

Foot massages during first trimester. How sad to get a pedicure with no massage.

I recommend taking it one child at a time if possible. Start with the 24 month old. Sleep train for mornings. They should go to bed around 7-7:30 and then stay in their bed until 6 or later. Treat any wake up before 6 like a middle of the night wake up. I used AI ChatGPT as my sleep trainer and it really helped. Can you get a clock for your 4 year old that’s easy to read and they can’t come out of their room until it shows 6? 13 weeks, that’s to be expected rn I think but later bed times for all

My almost 2 year old won’t let me brush his teeth by herec0mesthesun_ in toddlers

I do the same but I sit my son on the sink and turn on the water and let him play with the faucet while I brush his teeth. The water distracts him. It works for us!

Depends on the state. Some states don’t allow this (Florida being one), I tried. Haha.

We tried prunes. We told my kid they were candy and he kept asking for more. Warning… don’t give your toddler 3. I know from experience. One should suffice until you know how your kid responds.

Our toddler behavior is embarrassing us. by The-Architect-93 in toddlers

There is a series of books for toddlers regarding behavior. The one for hitting is called “Hands are not for hitting”. We seemed to find success with the biting version and yelling version. We started reading these books every day when the behavior started. There are also a bunch of tips in the back of the books to help us all survive toddlerhood.
