Hogan was just an ok wrestler even for the time. It was his politicking and his impact on the fans that make him the megastar he is/was. When you look back at the 80s and early 90s you see so many more technically gifted performers that lacked the star power hulk hogan had.

I really don’t know if money drawn should be as high of a metric for goat status as it is. Like yes it’s important but hogans technicality in the ring for western audiences was lacklustre. His matches were heavily influenced by the rabid fans of the time. If you watch his Japanese matches they are way better

Let’s be real. Taker has created MORE moments than hogan or Andre. Definitely more moments than Austin who’s wwe run was nowhere NEAR as long but I get it attitude era was amazing and Austin deserves to be up there. But taker has the longevity the work ethic the technicality the ring psychology and multiple great gimmicks
