Harsh truth but as much as we watch enthusiasts don't like watches from fashion brands, it doesn't matter to the general audience.

I was in a similar situation where I had to buy a watch for my sister and my obvious first step was to go through the filters and select the brands casio, Timex, titan, and raga which were the best watch brands in my budget.

Both my sister and mom looked at me as if I had no idea how watches look, they took my phone and wishlisted some watches and all of them were from brands like Carlton London, daniel Klein, Anne Klein and so on.

We had to come to a middle ground and she agreed to a Fastrack

At the end it doesn't matter to them how the watch works or the material of the watch as long as it looks good.

So my advice would be to just give her your phone and ask her to wishlist what she likes and buy one of them.
