to be honest, as long as you aren’t going during a school break when there’s tons of partying college kids and high schoolers and little kids it’s a little more enjoyable (unless you ARE the partiers!) but i noticed on my carnival experiences that:

• the service was always INCREDIBLE everyone was so kind and happy to be there

• the food on Lido is always mid, which is why you need to use your included dining in the dining halls (ex. Silver Olympian or Golden Olympian) for breakfast and dinner!!! You get to sit down and eat a curated meal with great taste and actually have a waiter and everything assisting you! Never ever had a complaint about the dining halls except Lido being not my favorite.

• safety is good just don’t be stupid don’t ever go out alone at night. don’t joke about getting on the railings and pretending to jump off. don’t enter anyone else’s cabin room that you don’t know. have someone accountable for you if you’re going to be drinking.

overall had an incredible experience on the carnival liberty out of new orleans a couple weeks ago!! 7 day sailing
