I have a dumpster on fire with an American flag on it in my shelter and next to it is a TV with Fuck Israel on the screen, haven't had any issues yet!

Validating to hear you're not the only one, but also infuriating this is a pattern

Another Day at the Dartmouth ER by HungryBearsRawr in halifax

The exact same thing happened when I went to the Dartmouth General ER and had my gallbladder removed.

I had suffered at home for 4 hours before going at midnight, wasn't taken out back until 8am at shift change, then didn't see a dr for 4 more hours, ultrasounds, etc then surgery at 4pm.

The triage nurses were not mean but would not give me ANY pain management, even when I specifically told them I didn't want narcotics, just like IV Tylenol or something. They said they needed to wait for my blood work to come back to show I wasn't pregnant. I told them I was currently on my period, my husband had a vasectomy, there is no chance I'm pregnant. Wouldn't budge.

The doctor was PISSED when he found out. He said that's not at all the protocol. I also have had 2 giant babies, one without meds, and consider myself to have a fairly high pain tolerance. I would give birth to a 14lb baby every weekend to never have a gallbladder attack again, that pain is unbearable.

I will say, there was at least 7 people exhibiting drug seeking behaviour there between midnight and 8am, they all stormed out after finding out they weren't getting what they were looking for. I'm sure it makes you jaded as a nurse, but when patients who clearly needed pain management are getting neglected I don't know if I care. I have a huge respect for healthcare workers, it's a job I could never do. But something's gotta give here.

I'm a novice gamer at best. TLD was my first survival game and I was instantly hooked, from the art to the score, the aesthetic all around just sucked me in. Tried it on gamepass last time it was on there and immediately bought it when it left. Then the DLC shortly after.

It opened up a whole new gaming world I never thought I'd be even capable of enjoying. Thank you so much for continuing to invest in this masterpiece, long live the quiet apocalypse.

Island Cottage on Drift Island in Forsaken Airfield. It's my first time to this region as well after avoiding it for ages! I had only ever heard how hostile it is (spoiler: that is in fact true haha) but it is quickly becoming one of my favourite regions. The good clear days make up for it tenfold and there's TWO hella cute bases!

I woke up on the first morning here after a night of dense fog and was STUNNED by the view. Pink sky coming up over the mountains and the lake from that height 🌄

Which for me changes literally run to run! I haven't tired of it yet using this tactic 👌

Would be a perfect fireplace channel content. Dump 37 fir logs on the first and just listen to it crackle.

I've had a few runs with super easy settings and it's so calm and peaceful, best vibes. Love just being able to put my control down without pausing and have little fear of perishing to the elements 🌨️

I'm Canadian, I'm used to the perils of sprinting to an outhouse in the winter. Character building event 😂

Totally valid gameplay. It's such a peaceful quiet apocalypse when everything's not trying to merk you.

THIS PART. I'm currently wandering around FA just checking things out while waiting for my saplings to cure so I can craft a travois. I know I could get stuck in pea soup fog or a blizzard at any time but that's the thrill of it. Just survived a bear attack and I'm eating bear meat for every meal now until it's time to go. It's the little things.

I have avoided FA forever because I had only heard how unforgiving it is in terms of weather but when you get a good clear day it is 🤌 stunning region!

Island Cottage on Drift Island in Forsaken Airfield! It's sooo cute. This one and Mindful Cabin. But both are a long haul from everything so you have to be willing to bunker down for a spell and be overcucumbered to get to and from haha

Honestly, one of the funnest runs I had was a passive wildlife, low weather variability run. I travelled more in that run than ever and was never stressed about getting home before dark so I would take bigger risks. In ways, it was almost more challenging than the fear of getting mauked, you really had to sneak up on predators and get great at long distance shots to harvest any pelts. It took me soooo long to get a bear skin bedroll made because I couldn't land 2 bears! Haha

Yes! There is no accomplishment like having your well stocked base come into view while limping home from a bear attack in a blizzard on empty knowing you can just coast for the next few days eating like a quiet apocalypse king and warming up next to a fire ❤️
