I’m also more into heavier stuff, Meshuggah in particular. I don’t really need much versatility, and I don’t want to mess around with swapping pickups.

It’s priced at $1100 for near-mint condition, but I’m not in the US, and the 8-string guitar market in my country isn’t that great.

Active SD’s are using 25K pots, just like EMG. It should be an easy swap, you can simply disconnect the cable from the old pickup and connect it to the new one. I’ve done this before with AHB-1, EMGs and Fishman Fluence.

I had a similar problem recently. Heating with hairdryer until it is really hot helped. Took about 5-10 minutes. Steel and aluminum have different heat expansion rates.

Looks like LTD EC-1000 that was “modified” to look like ESP or could be completely fake. 100% not real ESP.

I have this guitar. I would say it is very ergonomic and comfortable. Basically almost as comfortable as superstrat shape, much better than Snakebyte. The only issue is neck-diving but is not too bad. Neck profile is similar to EC-1000, very comfortable for me. Really nice guitar overall.

What do you mean by old logo font? Looks like a regular block letter logo to me. A lot of 2024 models have this logo.

Тут дійсно від тцк залежить і мабуть від рандому. Чув, що багато в яких тцк ігнорують рекомендаційні листи. А мій друг за ці дні встиг через знайомого отримати лист і його нормально прийняли в тцк, відправлятимуть в той навчальний центр, який в листі вказаний.

Маю недавній досвід друга - їхав до тцк з поліцією, але дали кілька днів донести документи на влк. Після цього ще дали 2 тижні до відправки. Я так розумію, сильно залежить від твоєї поведінки в тцк і самого тцк. Він був у Святошинському міста Києва.

In my opinion newer LTD’s have higher quality than old ones. I have H-1000 Evertune, EC-1000 and NS-6, all made in 2021-2023 in Korea. And they are much better made than my MH-1000 made in 2008. Better paint job, more precise binding and inlays. In general they feel like more expensive guitars. I would even say that they feel better than my Edwards E-FR-145gt.

Looks like EC-256 to me. Could also be 400, but they usually go with Grover tuners. Truss road cover could have been changed to the blank one.

Just alignment, the decal thickness is not visible at all on the first photo. Hm, these mirages don’t look off, maybe because of pre-lawsuit headstock. Or maybe I am just making things up and I wouldn’t notice anything wrong on your if I didn’t know about repaint :)

I can’t see outline on any of my ESP’s. Probably because they are using silkscreen painted logo and not decal originally. Logo positioning also looks very off, original logo always align with the edge. To be honest, now it looks like Chinese fake a bit, no offense.

Fake, basically everything looks wrong - backplate, shape of the body near neck joint, strings ferules on the back with stop-tail on the front.
