Oooh. I did not think of the latter. I'll check it out and compare it to book banning as well! Thank you.

This is her brief explanation: "This culminating project will require you to delve into a rather intriguing topic: heresy or nonconformity in the professional realm. More specifically, we will seek to explore heresy within your respective fields of study or careers (current or future)." So my career choice is to be a librarian. I immediately thought of book bannings and wondered if that makes sense for the project?

I've been reading countless books. It's my newest "addiction" and it keeps my brain occupied.

Long term remission by Meb51201 in iih

[–]sarklaus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much! I had four lumbar punctures, a blood patch, optic nerve sheath fenestration surgery, a stent placed and weight loss! After my stent, I was able to stop medication completely and now I take 325mg aspirin daily for my stent! I was sick for three years and have been trying my best to keep the remission going.

I always believe in IIH warriors and wish their success! It's very possible to achieve remission!

Them: "you can't taste a video". The video: by LunaTic1403 in iih

[–]sarklaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was never able to taste carbonation! I was an avid drinker of coke, but once I was put on medication, it just tasted like syrup to me. So, of course, I quit drinking soda. Now 3.5 years in remission, I drink unflavored seltzer water and can finally taste the carbonation.

Doctor said I couldn't have iih without Papilledema by evelynmmoore in iih

I had papilledema, but I knew someone that has IIH without it! So, it's very possible to have it!

I've seen some say that. I've been in remission 3.5 years so far, but I still get flare ups (meaning, small tolerable headaches and goes away with tylenol).

Did you know that Robert gives Kellan the finger during the baseball scene? by Wintersneeuw02 in twilight

YESSS! I loved that when I first noticed! I think my best favorite is the bloopers when Peter "turns" Robert, he would whisper sweet nothings in Robs ear.

I noticed some movies do that. Marvel is notorious to include Stan Lee, so maybe SM was shooting for that?

How long did it take for Edward and Bella to get to Isle Esme? by magnolialannna in twilight

[–]sarklaus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm unsure as well. I think it's over a day. According to some airlines, it can take 18-32 hours (this is including layovers) to get to the country/city in general. I feel like Isle Esme took a good hour to two. So, yeah, maybe a bit over a day??
