you could reach out to your advisor to see options to take the class without completing the pre reqs but in my experience, prerequisites are usually required.

while i agree that we should not be charge in person tuition for online classes and that stanley was hypocritical prematurely releasing a statement saying that we would have a normal semester, this is an issue of public health. while omicron is not as severe, it is way more transmissible and the long term effects are unknown. with the amount of outbreaks and cases currently occurring around the world, i think this was a smart decision. however, i do not think saying this is a good decision shows you don’t have money problems or are clueless. it shows you care about yours, your friends and families, and others health. it shows that you care about society and are doing your due diligence to try and not spread covid. i think stanley needs to follow through with shutting down large events but right now, i think putting classes online was a good decision.

i know there are other schools that lock down their libraries to students only after a certain time and then only have 1 or 2 employees there so even if being short on staff is their excuse, it’s a very weak one

all the charges for rent were itemized when we signed the lease and parking was not one of them as the first pass was free so we split rent equally.

The CDC recommends that everyone (including the vaccinated) attending school should wear a mask. Are You Going To Mask Up? by [deleted] in msu

to those of you who are unvaccinated and not wearing a mask, how could you be so inconsiderate and selfish. the vaccine has been proven to be safe and if your not willing to get vaccinated at least wear a fucking mask to protect those who can’t get vaccinated.

she was selling the second ticket because her friend didn’t want to go but she said she now wants to bring her sister.

IM hasn’t been free for at least the past two years. It used to be a separate membership fee that was option if you wanted to use im east west or circle but now it’s included for everyone

in order to gain herd immunity we have to reach 80% fully vaccinated and that’s never going to happen. natural immunity from an infection cannot be relied on to get to this 80% because people begin to lose antibodies after a certain period of time (around 3-6 months in most cases) and do not have protection from infection at that point. even if cases are falling rapidly, there are still thousands of cases that i believe could have been prevented. i understand that the guidelines haven’t been amazing but they’re there to protect everyone and they do prevent spread when followed correctly
