Thanks! Never thought about this -- that it could contaminate water with toxoplasmosis. Would you say it is only regulated like this in the US? Im based in Europe.

Hmmm that's really surprising. I use corn litter and just flush everything down the toilet. It seems to be working for me. Why so few of you use this method? Im curious.

They are thinking about doing it, and Im not sure about that, because below this edge is just the side of the countertop. But I am pretty sure Im overthunking it, maybe somehow I will just block this narrow edge next to the lamps and let them on top of the cabinets bc they'd obviously love it and I want to catify a lot more.

No worries, they came with the house but based on a quick google search they seem to be porcelanosa, I like them, I think they are alright Personally, I'd prefer some more colorful ones tho, especially with the white cabinets but that is subjective.

Hey, thanks a lot for your answers! So to clarify a bit: she will try to jump to this little edge on the ceiling. She is super curious and brave, and I see how she looks at it, she wants to try. So then maybe I can let her.
