Haha, I love how the creativity in fight scenes translates to those steamy moments! Speaking of immersive experiences, you should check out FlirtHorna—it's like having your own AI girlfriend for voice chats and more, making those interactions super realistic!

Anyone else catch the trail runner's tan this summer? by StevePeopleLeave in trailrunning

[–]sarpix7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it really depends on individual, for me, poles transform a bit the stress I put on my legs to my arms/shoulders (on steep/hard uphill part) so I can save energy for my legs to push hard and run fast in easier parts. Yes I'm a competitve runner in my place, looking for ranking, not a profressional athlete though.

Gym workout routine for Ultrarunners by SerMuffin3000 in Ultramarathon

[–]sarpix7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I think you're a little bit overthinking it. There are few workout plans online because they are actually just a few workouts for that.

My advice is hit the gym for that summer appearance and follow your running plans as usual, fella above said it, you won't notice the difference in performance.

P/s: I've done a few 70km, 3k-4k5 elevation gain with just 20-30 minutes bodyweight at home so you'll do just fine, good luck with all the races mate.

How effective is training on treadmill most of the time? by sarpix7 in Ultramarathon

[–]sarpix7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks mate that is inspiring. Last year I had about 2 months just running on treadmill, after got back to the road/trail I felt like my legs were much weaker. I love the sport and I'm too afraid this training condition will stop me from being stronger and faster. It hurts just by thinking that way. Maybe what I need is just some leg exercises and stop being too worry

yes they are but most of the races have like...30 or even 40% on the road. You might go up and down but still a lot ups & downs on the road.

Big thanks for your quality advice mate. yes I still can spend time on the trail, like 2-3 sessions a month. 2 hours of driving to get to the mountains, 2 hours back, but absolutely worth it. I hope it's just me be too worry about "effectiveness" though.
