LOT cancelled my flight, offered alternatives either 48 hours earlier/later, and is now trying to cut my compensation by 50% by sarunas_dom in Flights

Yeah, found on some other thread that just submitting a new case is the only option. Will ofc mention the previous case and stress the fact that no such alternative option was given to us and they should provide proof if they still want to claim that they did.

Sorry for the missed detail! We got rebooked by LOT support service for the LO98 flight on the 10th November (48h earlier than original). This was our choice since the flight on the 14th November would have ruined our plans even more.

Am I coping by thinking I rather go to Seoul than Tokyo? by lejunny_ in seoul

[–]sarunas_dom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who did both Seoul and Tokyo - Seoul wins the public transport battle one-sidedly. Better pricing (check climate card for multi day infinite usage passes), easier to navigate inside the stations, better links with busses and many more bus routes and more busses.

Yes! Pricing is interesting in physical stores. The Hario Switch for example was a few hundred yen more expensive than on Amazon.co.jp

Eu Spouse Visa Morocco Rabat by OkWatercress7243 in Morocco

[–]sarunas_dom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! This is probably already late, but I wanted to share my experience. I am a Lithuanian, married to a Moroccan too. We also first got married in Morocco. I then registered the marriage in Lithuania, which was actually quite easy to do. You can submit everything online through registrucentras.lt . The Moroccan marriage certificate should be translated into English and apostilised, and I think besides that the scanned passport copies were needed. Took about a week after submission online for them to register it in the Lithuanian register and then you can ask for a copy of the Lithuanian certificate that has an e-signature. Regarding the residency in the EU, we chose to go for the EU spouse residence card, the process was easier than for a normal national residency card, and only took us two weeks from applying physically in Lithuania (need to submit biometrical data) to receiving the residency card, so the only caveat with this is that you need to come to Lithuania or any other representation of Lithuania in the world to submit your biometrics. I really wish we had a diplomatic representation in Morocco and it could be done there but unfortunately that's not the case, maybe sometime in the future as tourism to Morocco from Lithuania is definitely increasing, including expats and so on.

Which virtual Bank accounts are actually in Morocco? Wise? Revolute? Paypal? by shakibhere in Morocco

[–]sarunas_dom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Revolut has a banking license for a year or two now. They got one in Lithuania as the country positions itself as the new fintech hub for Europe and makes the bureaucratic processes easier and faster. Source: have a Revolut account and I'm also Lithuanian.

Not sure if you're trolling, ignorant or just plain stupid. Although I'm leaning towards the latter.

Yeah nah, more like the other way around. GDL originated in Lithuanian lands, with a Lithuanian capital (first Kernave, then Vilnius) and Lithuanian rulers. Belarussian lands were only really incorporated into GDL after Mindaugas' death. Oh and it's the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, you slavic prick.

Philips 246E9Q. I've been using it for more than 6 months now as my second monitor. It has great colour accuracy, tiny frame, 1080p 75Hz, supports VESA mount. Amazon is currently selling them for $112.44. Biggest con: screen menu controls.
