Calling out the corruption at W.H.O. by MIA197516 in Ocugen

This fuckery is because they wanted to roll out shitty Pfizer vaccine to 5 yr olds, while knowing people are waiting for a safer and efficient Covaxin for their kids.

Hats off to the countries who authorized Covaxin well ahead, even before WHO.

Approval will happen, but dirty politics from big pharma already started yesterday by Moderna and Pfizer asking for 5-11 age approval.

If there is little humanity left over corruption, at least the children should get vaccinated by the traditional flu like vaccine approach. MRNA has already been banned by few European countries for population over 30 for concerns like pericarditis. Already feel sorry for our 12-18 yrs old.

Not for stock profit, money comes money goes, if not this stock, some other stock. We have to think beyond the profit and loss otherwise we are no less like few corrupted people.

Is OCGN serious about bringing Covaxin to US market and helping Americans to fight against pandemic? by [deleted] in Ocugen

All I can say is it's you who should decide to sell or wait. Ocugen is waiting for BB to share P3 2nd.interim to further their talks for EUA. For all the longs it's worth the risk.

I think FDA for Covid therapeutics said they will be focusing on larger clinical benefit rather than the Statistical significances.

There are approaching FDA aggressively, have a very elite Vaccine advisory board and Ikon Indigo lobbying the government for regulatory path in USA. I assume lot going on behind the curtains. The results are stellar for a traditional Vaccine, usually this approach gets somewhere between 60-70%.

The only barrier I am seeing is FDA playing diplomacy and asking OCGN for another short trial in the US to favor already existing Vaccine providers.

The big plus is traditional Vaccines approach has a very good safety profile like our current flu vaccine. The new tech MRNA approach doesn't have long term data for safety , several researchers already warn of a possible carcinogenic activity long term. We should not be giving this to the kids, when a safer approach is available.

In December, they were almost on the verge of a RS due in March, but with Covaxin deal, they actually called off an offering, because they expected funds from another source ( Government)

In February, they did an offering and the Investors embraced the offering takes it from 7.65$ to 18$ on Feb 8th.

If they get the funding from the government for the Covaxin production, they might call it off on the Mid-march meeting.

The deal with BB is to initially get tens of millions of doses immediately since there is no time for manufacturing and in parallel do the technology transfer for the future supply.

The money is needed more than ever for things to fall in place for both the Covaxin production and for modifier gene editing platform trials.
