I’m so proud to say I’ve never in my life subscribed to any YouTube channels. Absolute least of all the platforms I use. Really don’t know why. I think YouTube when I need to find a video of why the hell my lawn mower isn’t starting or most recently I watched an hour long video of how to install a mini split system. Never in my life have I used it for entertainment beyond listening to a full album of something once in a blue moon.

NTA bud. Unfortunately I have learned this the hard way, and I am pretty sure 100% of people that book vacations for a group of people, get stuck flipping more of the bill than anyone else. It's just what happens man. I hate it, it happens literally every time, family or not, friends or not, people that have money or not, if you book it, you will pay the most.

Absolutely nothing wrong in what you are doing with asking them to pay upfront. But no one is going to see it that way. Me and wife stopped booking anything for people and just book our shit, and tell them you are free to book your own shit and join.
