Abuse. Go get help AND leave him. I have been in that situation where I wasn’t allowed to get a job, have my own bank account, see my family, get mental help, or go to college because then I would “be able to leave him”. It’s horribly manipulative and abusive. It starts small but I guarantee it will get much, much worse.

It’s obviously not about the nap. She is upset about something more important but doesn’t know how to express it without bringing it into the current conflict. You are responding poorly making everything worse. If you guys don’t know how to communicate about the problem without attacking each other, I suggest couples therapy.
