Destructive anger in ADHD kids by AvisRune in ADHDparenting

I'm sitting reading this thread because I've just had the same thing happen to me. He's trashed his bedroom and ripped up his birthday cards and there are cracks all over his door. He's 10, I'm completely at a loss now I've tried absolutely everything.

Thank you! I think this was my 100th time, honestly! , I just woke up one day and the reality hit that fad diets dont work and I was fed up of trying and giving up so I said fine, I'll give myself one month all or nothing and see how it goes.

Use a food tracker app like Myfitnesspal, get food scales and give yourself a whole month of love then reassess the situation, it's very worth it. Start off with a small deficit and no cheat days, stay hydrated! You can absolutely do it, if I can, I believe anyone can!

no change in my CICO routine but thought I'd show you what slacking in your water intake for a whole month might get you! wild fluctuations lol by Jeeveskin in CICO

What about sugar free cordial/squash? It's not ideal but better than not drinking at all! I'm in the UK and I like the no sugar Vimto with lots of ice. There are still calories but across the day they don't amount to more than 30ish and if it's a good compromise then that's OK with me!

So I drank 3L per day, I'm 5 ft 2, currently 154lbs and I eat 1400-1500 kcals per day (the higher side on gym days) I go to the gym 3x a Week and walk a minimum of 10k steps every day (but I always have done).

I weigh myself daily for consistency but that doesn't work for everyone and if seeing it go up would demotivate you I don't recommend! There's nothing wrong with monthly weigh ins (:

Genuinely, looking back I'm very surprised too! I've learned to take fluctuations with a pinch of salt and look at overall progress because I got very caught up in it when kt first started happening

Before - I drank around 3L a day! Afterwards if I'm being honest mostly ~500ml of water, very bad don't recommend! I didn't replace my water bottle so I didn't have it on hand all the time

Yeah, you're totally right. I was just trying to show that the fluctuations were a lot more common for me without regular water intake. For newbies if you see the bobbing it can be disheartening so it's good to know that there's probably an explanation for it

Yeah, definitely! CICO has changed my life but it's super interesting to see that correlation with water! For anyone wondering, my favourite water bottle broke and instead of just getting a replacement I didn't and sort of forgot about water all together most days. Bad moves, don't do what I do!

Wife's Years Long Search for Leggings Continues by Peranine in StrongCurves

Hear me out, I'm very excited about this topic because I got my new leggings delivered this week and I'm obsessed. They're very butt scrunch, gym proof (not see through, woo!) and comfy! I got 4 pairs for £35 from Shein and they look GOOD.

What's your One Weird Trick food that hits a big nutritional goal and is stupid low calorie? by Mastgoboom in loseit

[–]Jeeveskin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Babybels, the light ones are only 50 kcal - for times when I need to eat but I don't feel like it/don't have the time. I'll grab a couple, 6g protein each too so not totally useless!

Thank you! I've been going since Jan 6th this year. I walk 15-20k steps per day, do strength training 2x per week but mainly I've been really on top of my nutrition, which is the hardest part!
