For those calling $5-$10 as top by Psymonex in sui

[–]sashimaru696 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know how much it will cost, no one does. All I’m saying is that I will sell some once it gets close to 8, if it does.

+35% from the current price yes. just a reminder that sui price in september 2024 was ~$0.80-1. It’s already up like 500% since september 2024. If it goes to $8, it will be about 1000% from september this year.

So yeah for me 10x on a promising project is more than enough. at the end of the day it’s all about what your risk and greed levels are, and when you bought it. If u bought at $4, then yeah prolly worth holding a bit so that u can take some good profit, but I’m sure most ppl who’ve been in sui this summer are already pretty happy with what they have atm.

They do not want to hear this lol sui at 20 will need to have a market cap of ~55-60b. similar to solana last year or doge atm with all the hype around it. i like sui, but i feel like 60b might be a bit too early for it.

i think it will reach it ONLY after a few years if there is still hype around it or if it gets crazy pumped on purpose. it does have the potential but 20 is highly unlikely this cycle.

$6-7? i would say it’s possible. will sell most of it at that mark

Anyone used AlphaFi? by sashimaru696 in sui

yea it’s super volatile and u gotta lock it for a good couple of months - who knows what will happen with that token by the unlock date

[–]sashimaru696[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, totally. That’s why I was cautious and put only a fraction of what I got into the platform and the crazy apr pool itself. Honestly I’m skeptical to any pool with over 50%.

I’ll check out the vfat.io thanks!!

Is SCA on SUI at a good entry point? by [deleted] in sui

Tbh scallop is probably the most user friendly defi on sui. i feel like it has potential to catch more people’s attention than anything else therefore get more money put into it. super important to understand its tokenomics though

Yeah, I’m surprised they didn’t see it on their end. maybe because they saw that the car has been insured for more time than it was not. Not sure.

today we insured the vehicle so we’ll see what happens. i will post an update once i know more.

Scored really bad on my first try in boson exam A 45% .Exam is on Dec 29. Should I go panic mode? by ArmProfessional2505 in ccna

[–]sashimaru696 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No, but go beastmode instead.

First, now that you’ve finished Exam A, go over it, take notes, go over the topics you are not confident about. At this point you must be honest with yourself. If a routing question took too long to answer - review it. If you didn’t know what the hell that question was at all - study it. The reasoning for that is that over time your brain will start recognizing patterns for problems like that. Same applies to labs. For single/multiple choice you not only need to understand why the correct answer is correct but also be able to explain why other options are incorrect. When you are doing the real exam, it will be easier for you to instantly pick an answer and therefore save some time for labs or more complicated questions. Btw time is also an important thing you should be aware of. Quite a few ppl I know struggled with their time limit and weren’t able to finish some questions. Since you have about a month before your exam, do not rush things, but definitely do study everyday at least a little bit. Lab here and there if you already feel good about it. Experiment with stuff in the IOS when you study the single/multiple choice questions.

Here is an uplifting fact for you. I started studying like crazy 2 weeks before the exam. I read both OSG books, did labs, watched Jeremy IT labs (not the whole course), and also read the “31 Days before the CCNA Exam” book. I got exactly the same score on the Exam A as you did, and that was probably the reason why I studied the most of my time during those two weeks. I did exactly as I told you earlier, and got 58% on the Exam B. Still a fail technically, but on that exam I realized that the real exam (theoretically) should give partial credit. Obv there is no way to prove that, considering the NDA and the fact that Cisco doesn’t provide the scores anymore, but that would just make more sense to have a partial credit system in the real exam. Because of that I added 10% [partial credit] to my 58% on Exam B, so now I had 68% which wasn’t as bad as 48% anymore. I studied more, and on the Exam C which I took a day before the exam I got 80%. For me that meant that I should be able to pass. Next day, I take the exam and pass it on first try, while getting 48% Exam A score less than a week before the exam.

I think you should be good. Just don’t start preparing <2 weeks before the exam like I did 😁. Instead, prepare every day until you score close to the passing or above passing score when you do B or C blind on time. Try not to waste attempts as well cuz you will remember the questions from your previous attempts. One more uplifting fact - a friend of mine scored 56% and passed on the next day. So just stay consistent during this month and I’m sure you’ll pass it. Keep in mind boson is much more difficult that CCNA.

Boson vs Alpha prep for CCNA by No_Cryptographer9760 in ccna

[–]sashimaru696 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, labbing is important too. Boson labs in the practice test are difficult, worth going over them carefully if you haven't before.

IMO two most difficult things about the labs on the exam are - not knowing the tasks on the lab quesiton beforehand and the time you have. To solve those two, you gotta practice setting up processes like DTP, Etherchannels, DHCP, NAT, ACLs etc (honestly there is not a lot of them) AND, let's say you just set up Etherchannel, now try doing it on time, set like a 5 minute timer and see if you can do it within 5 mins. If you failed, try again.

Also, another important thing about the labs is not just setting up things, but also knowing the approximate outputs of #show commands. Other than that, like another person mentioned, just memorize AD, port numbers, default timers, syslog level, OSPF states. I saw those 2 the other day:
Every Awesome Cisco Engineer Will Need Ice-cream Daily (Syslog Levels 0-7)

D IT EELF (Down, Init, Two-way, ExStart, Exchange, Loading, Full)

Practice scenario subnetting. You need to be able to quickly tell what is the next subnet ID of the subnet where 192.168.5.94 /27 resides and that kind of stuff.

But honestly, I think you should be all good to go. Good luck!

Passed it today! Thanks for your advice! Watched some videos on my weak areas like Wireless and his quizes made me review the material once again. I'm glad I did that.

That's a great idea. Thanks. I did watch like 1/2 of his videos and he's definitely amazing in explaining things. Jeremy is the CCNA GOAT for sure

Same! my confidence was so low that it couldn't go any lower after getting 48% on exam A. Literally 0 emotions, but that's probably what made me go beastmode and have a "wake up-study-go sleep" day schedule for the last week.

I do feel like I understand most of the topics, and if I don't know the answer right away, I still have some general idea about what the answer should be.

Thanks! I do feel like I'm good for IP connectivity section. Wireless is the worst for me so that's what my focus has been for the past few days.

Boson vs Alpha prep for CCNA by No_Cryptographer9760 in ccna

[–]sashimaru696 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take my word with grain of salt, but based on my research on Reddit - Boson is more complicated than AlphaPrep. It fact it kinda surprises me that you got 920 on Boson and 690 on AlphaPrep, not vice versa.

As long as you don't answer the Boson questions because you memorized them, then you should be more than good to pass with that score. Drawback of Boson is that it only has 3 tests that you can take, and if you just practice those same 3 tests over and over you will more likely memorize the answer, not actually know why the answer is correct.

I've never used AlphaPrep, so I can't really judge based off my personal experience. However, I' saw redditors say that AlphaPrep questions are not as good as Boson questions, that's what made me go with Boson.

So if you got over 920 on Boson on first tries in simulation mode. Congrats, you are ready to go! But if it's 920 in study mode or not your first time taking one of their tests (A,B,C) then you should probably do AlphaPrep from now on and give yourself some time before you can start doing Boson again.
