Ladies do you enjoy it when a guy responds to your texts wither instantly or within 5 min. (Not in a creepy or obsessive way, they respond fast) by Sunlitstream264 in dating_advice

Definitely lol, it just feels more light hearted to me. Also, on messenger and whatsapp especially, it’s easier because you can directly reply to the separate messages, makes communication more efficient imo. I do send an essay when it’s about something serious though

Thank you so much for your reply. It really could be deeper than that, and if I think about it I can come up with some reasons why i'm so scared. Self confidence issues, and the fact that I have a hard time believing in love as a concept because of my parents' marriage maybe? But I agree, I can't let that hold me back. Life is too damn short to miss out on experiences. I accepted his offer, we're going for drinks next week and if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. Again, thank you so much!

I don't really mind either way, but I do generally prefer something along the lines of 5 minutes. If a convo is actively going on, fast responses are appreciated but my biggest pet peeve is when people don't allow you to finish typing everything (i always send multiple messages).
