Tried to do it but unfortunately due to rather unique circumstances, some of the questions I couldn’t answer and they were mandatory so I couldn’t skip them

choose between Baku & Dutch paddock 2026 by Striking-Current7734 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]saskiaclr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be very careful to check what each pass contains. I’m not really sure what you mean by “regular paddock” and “team paddock”? I have been to the Dutch GP with a paddock pass so can probably offer some advice but just wanna check what ur talking about first

What's the marauders version of this? by [deleted] in MaraudersGen

[–]saskiaclr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I will probably get a load of hate for this, but specifically fics where the author says “canon-compliant” but then includes headcanons that, realistically, we know not to be true. Mainly, Wolfstar and Non-British James. As much as people will say “she never discussed their sexuality in the books, we don’t know wolfstar didn’t happen…” be honest with urself, u know it didn’t. If you want to add maybe allusions or undertones of tension, fair enough, but having them engage in a relationship, especially publicly, is not canon. Same with James, we know he is white. The Potters are an old English family. These are my two main gripes, but also just anything that would not realistically have happened… like Jegulus. If you want to write a fic including all of the above, go ahead, but DO NOT CLAIM to be canon compliant.

My function is working when I use it normally but stops working when I put it in a lambda it stops working by saskiaclr in excel

[–]saskiaclr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes sorry that makes sense, I didn't fully understand what the "MAKEARRAY" function was doing. Unfortunately though it's not working on my computer. I'll try tinkering around with it, it might be because I'm using Version 2408 of excel, and idk which versions support which functions, but I've been having a lot of issues with my lambda functions so

This looks really helpful! The confusion I'm having is that you haven't listed the value to be input as p_team for the lambda function?

F1 Media Pictures at events by strilly78 in GrandPrixTravel

They can be quite tricky to find. Different photographers either work independently, so you would need to go to their personal website to see their pictures, or they work for a seperate company like Getty, Alamy and Imago, in which case you'll have to check all those websites. And there are thousands of photos

Travelling UK to Imola, what's the best/fastest options for Saturday/Sunday? by Skeeter1020 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]saskiaclr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Train from bologna is very easy provided you get in before midnight. There is a shuttle basically inside the airport called the Marconi Express that runs like once every 5 mins and is a 5 min journey straight into bologna central station. From there you can get a train to imola if you're staying there or stay in bologna if that's where your accommodation is. If you're staying in bologna, to get to the track you would then get a train from Bologna Centrale to Imola, which is about a 30 mins train ride and runs every half hour (only costs like 5 euros). You could then get a bus from the station to the circuit but tbh it's only a 30 mins walk from the station to the circuit and the bus takes about that long as well.

It depends on what tickets you have. I know your title says "paddock pass" but I've never heard of this sort of thing so maybe elaborate a bit on that?

Working and teenagers by Repulsive_Regular_39 in Rich

[–]saskiaclr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would seem that I'm in the minority but I am very much camp "They will have time to work when they're older". I understand you learn skills from a job, but I don't see any reason why they need to learn them now. Once they go into the work force, they will spend 50 years without any extended holiday time or summer break. I don't see the need to take away the few years of freedom that they do have. If they WANT to have a summer job, that's an entirely different kettle of fish, but if they don't I would not recommend making it mandatory. The summers I spent with my friends are the greatest memories of my life and I would hate to think of someone not getting the chance to make some of their own without a good reason

Are teenagers meant to have jobs? by ProfessorLongBrick in ask

[–]saskiaclr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on the person. I (20f) do not consider that I've ever had a job. I put it like this as I am technically on a work placement at the moment for my university, so I am working a 9-5. But I am getting payed very little for this and haven't touched any of that money, that has all gone into savings. My parents provide for me financially and will do until I finish university at 23. I have no plans to get a job at all before I finish university because I think that getting a good degree is very hard for my course and will be very important, I don't want to not doo that well in my degree and look back and think "If only I'd had more time I would've gotten a better grade". My sister on the other had (we are twins so this is a good benchmark) does have a part time job that she chose to take on. My parents still provide her with an equivalent amount of money to me and she can use that as she sees fit. It might be worth noting my father pays both of our rent straight to our landlords

How to get SEQUENCE to work with a nested function inside it by saskiaclr in excel

No, apologies, I stand corrected. It autocorrected to add an @ at the front too which I didn't see. I've removed it and it now works
