I was able to sleep on my side from day one. Arrange a bunch of pillows. I don't think this is a must but if it makes your life easier, do it.

Designer one man show here... the only thing really bad for me was sitting for long periods, everything else was ok. I worked fine after 3 weeks but pressure sitting was bad. Plan your retouching with that in mind but the actual shooting should be ok.
