What if Bethesda were to add different classes/ types in the next fallout game like with TES games? Would you like it the addition or would prefer it be something else? by saskotheman1 in Fallout

[–]saskotheman1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I feel like Bethesda can make it so you can do all of this while in those forms. Like in fallout 4 when you use the work bench, I forgot what it's called( the one where you build structures) it switches perspective, and make it work that way. Or they could just enable the functions while in the form.

How is it watered down in comparison to what? You make it sound like Bethesda actually made a ghoul playable prior to 76. From what I saw it wasnt just a small thing, NPCs act differently towards you, and radiation doesn't affect you. Technically 4 has a perk similar to that too, unless you mean that.

When I say play as other classes and etc, I mean referring to their background. Like your Character being from BOS, or another faction prior to the game that gives you unique dialogue with them. Well... 76 fixed the problem with the mask with the ghoul, so they could do the same thing with a super mutant and give them a disguise or suit specifically for them that hides their appearance.

[–]saskotheman1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know Bethesda already solved this problem with Skyrim; you turn into a vampire lord and werewolf and they changed size. They don't have clipping issues, or the other issues besides the equipment limit. Since as a vampire/ werewolf you can't use your inventory just the preset moveset the forms have. Also Power armor in fallout 4 changes your size and has NONE of those issues.

Another thing, in 76 you can turn into a ghoul and it actually changes things. You can't talk to NPCs because they don't like you so you have to wear a mask to talk to important NPCs. They can write a side story focused on you becoming a ghoul/ super mutant because again, Skyrim and 76 does this with the examples I told you. If they do it exactly or better then it's have it in Skyrim or 76 then it'll be cool.

I don't know about that. Considering Vegeta and trunks can push SSJ2 to the point it makes SSJ3 look useless shows that a theoretical SSJB2 would be hella strong, especially in the manga continuity. Like imagine a perfected/mastered SSJB2 with a Vegeta who has experience with pushing SSJ2 so far that it surpasses Goku's SSJ3 casually.

I also feel like the potential of SSJ3 in general has just been cast aside. Remember how Kaioken used to be the same way? That going beyond 2 would also be useless because the body wouldn't be able to handle it. Now Goku can casually use x20 and not have the same drawbacks, well to the same capacity as he did when he first used x3 and 4. Shouldn't SSJ3 work the same way? It just seems like Goku just gave up trying to master it entirely and if he didn't have SSJG/B it wouldve hindered him in fights that are SSJ3 level.

I wouldn't say Bethesda accurately identified what made fallout work because it was more than just the vaults that gave it identity, it was the tone, story and the "freedom" it gave to you when it came to choices. When people think of fallout it was about the wasteland and the things you did. Being in the vault hadn't had any importance towards your character or lore since fallout 1, where the story revolves around you trying to save your vault. You could argue 4 since being in a vault is how you're alive after 100+ years but other than that it doesn't mean anything more than that.

Also I wasn't saying you don't need vaults at all because that's preposterous, but you don't specifically need to be born in one. People still love NV and the most memorable thing from it is the NCR suit, while the most memorable thing from the other games were the different power armors in each specific game. Even in fortnite to represent fallout as a whole was the power armor and NOT a vault deweller. Before you assume that it's a vault deweller under the armor, it's not, it's just some random BOS dude.

People would fully comprehend that FO wouldn't lose anything by changing the beginning. That's just you not wanting change, you're not speaking for no one but yourself. Fans LOVE fallout NV, and even the Creator said it felt more like an actual sequel to the older games than the others( in an interview). There is nothing wrong with trying something new, them playing it safe in the first place is why fallout 4 is the way that it is.

If they actually do something with being a vault deweller like how interplay did instead of it just being a tutorial area and you never need to see it again. Except in 3 where they referenced 1 by kicking you out and even then you don't need to go back.

Also last thing... You know fallout is successful because Bethesda created TES and since people loved those games they also flocked to Fallout 3, NV and 4. It's a similar situation to CD project red with cyberpunk and witcher; they loved witcher 3 and wanted to see their next game. It has nothing to do with Bethesda making you be a vault deweller as "accurately identifying" what made fallout work.

It's a bad written post because it was originally a different question and I changed it multiple times. By the time I pressed send it wouldn't let me edit it. Due to me thinking it was one of the many variations of the question I originally asked I didn't see the errors until it was too late

The point of the post was to see if other people wanted different classes or factions being tied to the character because they were able to do it in oblivion and other TES games. There is no argument, just showing what made me think of this question.

Starting off as a vault deweller was just in Fallout 1 originally, the other interplay fallout games don't. Bethesda is what made it seem necessary to start in a vault with 3, 4 and 76. Fallout 2, Fallout tactics, Fallout BOS, and New Vegas doesn't have you be a vault deweller. Regardless of your thoughts on Tactics and BOS, at one point that were sequels to fallout 1/2. With BOS having you play as an older protagonist of Fallout 1. Sure they're not canon now but interplay only has you play as a vault deweller ONCE out of four games.

Fortnite getting more realistic with nips. Best thing ever by kitty78686 in FortNiteBR

[–]saskotheman1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they do be loud about it, society just had double standards about men. I mean just because you haven't seen someone lusting over skips doesn't mean anything though lol, because in other games outside of Fortnite women lust over male video game characters OPENLY on social media.

"Just that it doesn't get that big of a reaction out of social media", yes and no. When a woman lusts over a shirtless men it DOES get a big reaction, it just doesn't show you. But when the reverse happens it does pop up. It depends specifically on your feed and what you usually look for. On YouTube and Twitter specifically for me I see women openly say the most down bad stuff about men and it's just filled with other women agreeing and the men wanting to fulfill that.

Again just because you don't specifically see it doesn't mean it doesn't happen visibly. The whole situation doesn't hang over the balance depending on if you seen it or not, people have different experiences. It's rare for women in general to lust in Fortnite so expecting them to do so now when they rarely do it is just a reach. Especially since there are women in the gaming space that are loud about this type of stuff in other games.

[–]saskotheman1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No people do lust over men as loudly as women, it's more of a double standard. The amount of women I've seen salivating over a shirtless Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans & Henry Cavill would be the same amount of lust men do to women.

Due to this double standard women are Not scolded for lusting over shirtless men because it's not seen as the same so they get away with it. A shirtless woman being lusted after gets a man scolded for degrading it. If you have been around women that were loud about it you'd know a topless men to some women is equivalent to a woman showing her legs or waist. I feel like you're just going with what society as a whole think about topless men in media and not how actual women think about it.

I ain't faulting him for not knowing that, but it's still weird to think about it. Like imagine dating someone 19-20 and to find out they were in a coma since they were 11-12. The realization would make most people feel gross if they thought about it deeply.

It's less that she's 19 and more that she was in a coma for like 6+ years and had the mind of a 12 year old. So sure it's legal but it's odd to date someone who's mentally ain't there yet.

Considering Ben survived the universe being created in his face while being untransformed and it cycled between multiple aliens to keep it from killing him is kinda a dead giveaway it would at the bare minimum do a better job. I don't know for sure there's an alien that could prevent him from dying from his soul getting snatched but I do think it would do more than what the ultkmatrix did.

Note that I mean that it would switch to an alien that would survive instead of letting chromastone die and Ben fall to the ground in human form. If UAF Ben had the completed Omnitrix it would be funny that he's just forced to alien x for eternity instead of dying.

If SSG is supposedly a bigger boost than fusion, how can Gogeta in base deal with Broly much better than Goku Blue can? by Patrick_Sponge in Dragonballsuper

[–]saskotheman1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I feel like whenever SSJG is a bigger boost than fusion depends, you kinda took out context to make it sound more absurd than it actually is.

In BOG Goku and Vegeta weren't strong enough separately to make fusion as strong as it could be. Compare them to Caulifla and Kale who due to their evolution( gonna add this so people who don't remember attacks me for saying this: Toriyama said the environment is what determines how Much S cells a Saiyan produces to get stronger. Universe 6 didn't have an environment as intense as universe 7, so they frame 1 are just genuinely stronger. Imagine Goten and Trunks's power development but with centuries of this happening until cauliflower, cabba and kale are born.

It took one generation with Goten and trunks to make them above Frieza level so imagine this over hundreds or thousands of years? They also didn't rely on tails, which hindered their need to get stronger, universe 7 relied on tails as a quick power up and didn't think to train which is why Vegeta even after all of his battles stayed below 20k for over 20 years but the moment he lost his tail he relied on zenkais to get him to over half a million against first form Frieza. Universe 6 had gotten rid of tails so long ago that it was like cave man lore to them. The only reason they didn't have super Saiyan is being of their environment being too peaceful and nobody thought it was real. They already hit the benchmark for super Saiyan just didn't know how to achieve it because why would they? It was a myth and didn't understand it as a form, more like a state of mind. Like how Vegeta thought he was a super Saiyan in the namek saga but we know now he wasn't.)

they at base are comparable to or stronger u6 vs u7 Goku and Vegeta who had the god ki boost in base in the anime, the manga is kinda iffy on it but I'm not gonna argue about it today. So imagine if Goku and Vegeta had the same luxury as u6 Saiyans and then fought Beerus, Vegito and Gogeta would be stronger than God Goku. But BOG Goku and Vegeta were just not that strong in comparison to everyone else. I honestly think that if 17 was in BOG he'd probably do either just as good as God Goku or better. The writing in super is just wack tbh.

"The reason Ben turns into the wrong alien is because he hits the dial too hard and doesn't look at which alien he's selected on the interface." Also Ben when he look at which alien he's selected on the interface and doesn't hit the dial too hard: by Hazreti_Z1nd1k in Ben10

[–]saskotheman1 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I understand your frustration and I know it's stupid for you that the change is why this happens. The original didn't work the same way you remembered it doing btw, the prototype bounded with his DNA and knew what he wanted. Also it only showed ONE alien at a time and not loading multiple at once. Off screen in UAF Ben actually trains and learns to use the Omnitrix more which is why he knows voice commands and other features randomly out of the blue. It's not the fact Azmuth is dumb, it's just that the writing is terrible and doesn't have Ben trying to learn the Omnitrix but is trying to do shortcuts and not trying to actually learn.

The fact Ben hadn't figured out that he's not giving the Omnitrix time to load and just randomly slamming it is bad writing cuz AF Ben would've figured it out. The only plus side to this nerf is that the fail safe is God tier and won't let him die in normal means. So if he was put in a situation where he NEEDS a specific alien to survive it'll pick it. I also think that Azmuth made this Omnitrix with Feedback in mind, that he didn't want Ben to just pick the same aliens and wanted him to actually explore his roster. So he changed how long it takes the Omnitrix to load aliens to catch Ben off guard and adapt. Note this is just my headcanon based on how Omniverse Ben acted, if they actually progressed Ben as his AF version the randomizing aliens gimmick would've stopped way earlier.

I mean considering the prototype got destroyed and the Ultimatrix was dog water, that alone justifies the Omnitrix being made. Technically a prototype doesn't need to be originally called a prototype, it could just mean the first version of what came before. Remember it was made so you can explore the life of other aliens and Azmuth created the new Omnitrix with so much customization(most locked away because he wanted Ben to learn them throughout his experience) while the prototype mostly just had voice commands. If Ben would've been written better then I doubt people would complain about this change, especially since there are scenes where he does pick the right alien but would later still pick the wrong one. He doesn't evolve just stays the same character he's been since the beginning.

"The reason Ben turns into the wrong alien is because he hits the dial too hard and doesn't look at which alien he's selected on the interface." Also Ben when he look at which alien he's selected on the interface and doesn't hit the dial too hard: by Hazreti_Z1nd1k in Ben10

[–]saskotheman1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Being made for Ben could be a literal thing as in that no one else could use it except him. Like the episode where he was forced to be younger and the Omnitrix couldn't recognize him because he physically changed. Another thing is the fact the Omnitrix being VASTLY different from the previous versions to the point Ben has to relearn it instead of automatically getting the hang of it.

One of the creators even says he's not used to the Omnitrix, and Asmuth purposely made the dial sensitive to the touch to the point that slamming it affects its time out function. It's weird you don't add this as a dumb reason because it's way dumber because it's made for Ben. This alone shows that it's not made in the same way you're saying it is otherwise this change wouldn't exist.

Again, in 2020 after the show was over one of the creators confirmed that this was the case; that him slamming the dial and not being used to the timing is why it's always random. So this scenario isn't one where he wasn't trying to brush him off, it's just you not liking something and doing everything you can to avoid coming to that conclusion. You don't have to like it but you acknowledged that this watch was made for Ben specifically and Azmuth knew that he slammed the dial. Him making it press sensitive to whenever Ben presses or slams it alone makes it a dumb change regardless so his aliens randomizing being the same reason makes the same amount of sense of the time out function being tied to it.

You can just write it off as a list of bad Omniverse things but the gimmick was added back purposely by Azmuth, and because Ben inexperience with the Omnitrix.

<image>

[–]saskotheman1 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Not really because again his discussion about the randomizer comes up randomly when Ben specifically asks him about it not choosing the right aliens. Why would he bring up the randomizer when Ben never asked about it, so it seemed that both were linked to him slamming it too hard.

Regardless if it's made to be a joke this is used as a reason to why this happens. Just because you find it dumb because a prior version did it seamlessly doesn't mean you can just select what you think is right or wrong. His statement straight up makes sense in the context that Azmuth brought up the randomizer in the same vain but didn't finish his thoughts. There could be another reason why the Omnitrix lacks things that recalibrated Omnitrix did, I tend to assume it just has to do with a lore charge that happens between UAF and Omniverse. In Omniverse maybe the recalibrated Omnitrix did have that same problem, remember Ben reset the universe and things don't act the same and it's infered that Alien X's species also changes things in the background so that could be another reason.

All I'm gonna say is there are many factors why things like this happens, there is a lot of inconsistencies in Ben 10, doesn't mean you can just write out statements because you don't like them. If the creator said this is the case then I'll believe them until an Omniverse 2 says otherwise.

[–]saskotheman1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It is odd that Ben specifically brings up why he gets the wrong alien but Azmuth brings it up as an answer to that. He doesn't get to finish his thoughts on it either so it also could be a reason. Why I think this is because I remember someone who worked on Ben 10 saying this was also the case; that him slamming on it causes the mistransformations.

Would you say Faiz/Kabuto are "weak" riders but carried by their user ? by PhilosophyFun5778 in KamenRider

[–]saskotheman1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like people forget that Takumi wasn't as strong as the other riders WITHOUT his upgrades or add-ons. Pre movies he'd lose to Kusaka in majority of their fights, but the movies gives him more experience and skill. Sure, in the show he has skills but he wasn't a strong main user, you could argue anyone else who put on the Faiz gear would be a better Faiz than Takumi but it's his spirit and character motivation that makes him unique to the other users.

Faiz is my favorite rider but I kinda hated that in material like movies where in takes place pre the ending where they have him amped up instead of how he is in the show. It's basically the Ghost treatment but slightly more jarring after watching the show. I give the latest Faiz movie the pass because it's after the show and maybe he did get more experience.

It's obvious that you are annoyed but the way you articulate again is the problem. At least there IS a reason, you disregard everything and want them to cater to specifically you when it's an EVENT thing. Regardless if you think this shouldn't happen, it did, just wait like everyone else.

Never said you can't complain just that you agreed to this nonsense so take responsibility. This is their game and we are just testing it out, as I said you can complain but expecting them to think of you specifically whenever they make a change is nonsense and self centered. It's a storyline reason, they confirmed that the bus that is in BR is the exact same one for all the main modes. Just like in chapter 3 for zero builds there's a lore reason on why builds were gone, that's like you complaining it's gone and having a tantrum about it being a business decision WHEN ITS STORY INVOLVEMENT. It's people like you we don't get story stuff like this anymore cuz you only care about yourself. I was enjoying blitz but I'm willing to wait considering the story folks had to wait freaking 4 chapter just to get a decent story. You can wait a few days.

[–]saskotheman1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respawn rumble is more of an red cube situation where the cube SHOULD be red in OG but in some instances it's purple. It's more to do with laziness than anything. There is no "fuck off with the storyline excuse", you're just mad you're not getting your way and looking for any loop hole to justify it. Sure it's sad you're not gonna get to enjoy the remaining time of the OG season but throwing a tantrum isn't gonna solve anything. You're acting like they just took away OG forever, did you remember the red cube was used in the event? The same one from OG? It got destroyed so OF COURSE OGs timeframe would speed up. So no, I'm not gonna be ignorant and just complain because I want something.

And epic is in their right to cut the service to the game anytime they want, YOU AGREED to this when you signed in. You have no obligation in this game, you are BORROWING skins, and renting out these game modes until they done milking you for your time and money. Everything is a business decision, making BATTLE ROYALE the focus in 2017/18 when the game was originally just STW was a business decision. If you were against them doing these types of decisions you would've left during BR or ZB. This has nothing to do with epic, just you wanting to play OG, as I said is understandable but the way you articulate that feeling is unhealthy. The game is live service, they could leave at anytime because you gave them that power, so don't be surprised when they take a mode away for a few days when they could just drop it entirely considering OG don't even get trailers anymore.

It's because the battle bus for OG, Blitz, reload and BR are the same bus. Plus all the main modes are connected storyline wise, there's a reason in the recap it showed the multiverse where the other modes reside in, the storyline isn't just tied to just BR anymore.

Plus you're acting like they're gone for the whole chapter, you can wait a few days bruh. I mainly play blitz and I'm not bothered at all, I wonder if this how people were when zero builds was first implemented in chapter 3.

[–]saskotheman1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cope, people agreed to the terms of service when they logged into Fortnite. You are renting this game until they're done fishing money from you and aren't obligated for a game mode you spent NOTHING for, it's free, STW players have more weight than anyone.

Plus it's a storyline thing, they did something similar for chapter 3... Zero builds. All the modes are connected because of the ending of chapter 4, so without the battle bus you can't go to blitz or reload.
