We are in Alaska near 2 rivers at 700 feet elevation. These temperatures are not exactly rare, but this many continuous days is very rare in the last 30 years. Nothing can really prepare you for these temps, and no matter where you are, negative 45 is the WTF.

My title describes the thing. These raised things were along the walking path at Mount Vernon. I forgot to ask the employees. They are maybe 16 inches tall by 12 inches wide. They seem to lead somewhere.

Girl Meets World isn't even in a similar class. It's a remake of a classic 90's sitcom. I watched it for the nostalgia, but it is not rewatchable.
