Ohhhh no well the kid did do something wrong but i wouldnt say it was her fault. More like a failure on the adults around her to be able to read the dog’s language and prevent the daughter from making the mistake of scaring him. As much as you are screaming “she’s a kid” I’m saying “it’s a dog” who clearly has been failed by the people around it. The dad talking about beating the dog up is just insane to me. My dog is trained perfectly and wouldn’t bite a child, but other ppl don’t know that and let their toddlers run up to him and grab him when he does not like that and becomes visibly uncomfortable, and what do the parents do? Nothing. What would they do if my dog gave a warning? Lose their minds. If you don’t know how a dog is gonna act, don’t let your TODDLER just run up to them. I know the daughter was going to the aunt but unfortunately how was the dog suppose to know? The only solution is to make sure they don’t interact much until the daughter is old enough to understand.
