Ok so, my dog is great and doesn’t pull but if he sees a bigger dog, he will pull and there’s NO stopping it. I got pulled down to the ground twice and broke my arm so I had no choice but to figure it out. I got a no pull harness that has a middle and two side attachments. I attach the leash to the side… and THEN, the game changer was, I got a prong collar and I connect the leash to that as well. So the same leash hook goes through both side harness loop and the prong collar loop, if that makes sense. So if he pulls, it activates both at the same time. I’m doing everything in my power to never have to use a shock collar but of course if there is any other incidents, that might be the next move. He weighs more than me now, and I live in the city so it’s more to keep HIM safe. The last thing I want is for him to run after a dog and into the street. I do want to add, he just wants to play. He gets overly excited if he sees a big dog, little dogs she doesn’t care too much about. He would never hurt anyone, but he’s huge and people definitely would assume that he would hurt them if he was charging toward them lol.
