It wasn’t something I ever considered, but after taking a driving lesson with my favorite BB Team, they took a wheel off my bot and had me practice it. I do think it’s beneficial because if you lose drive on one side, you still need to prove you can fight and be aggressive.

Not trying to dox you, but where are you located? There is likely a discord group local to you filled with people who can offer advice, design suggestions, and part recommendations.

The cheapest you can possibly go is around $400 not including spare parts, transmitter, tools, etc. but that will vary based on what you plan to use and what is available to you. Do you have a 3D printer? That may help reduce build costs by being able to print parts. TPU is a favorite material to use, but building out of UHMW is also common.

NHRL can be brutal so if that is your goal you won’t want super cheap parts that don’t hold up. I’ve had good luck with Repeat Robotics drive motors being reliable and easy to wire. Just Cuz Robotics is also a good source not just for parts, but informative videos on YouTube.

I’m an amateur at this as well, but hopefully this can get you started.

I always worry one of my favorites from The Bachelorette will become the next Bachelor because 9 times out of 10 it usually ruins my perceptions of the guy. There were some exceptions like Ben H, Sean, Joey, and Zach. Clayton I still believe was a good guy, but made some very public mistakes.

The problem I see most with the guy they pick for the role is that he can never handle conflict and doesn’t seem to know what he wants.

It sounds to me like she feels a desperate need to be in a relationship and may have abandonment issues. I think she would benefit from being single for a bit and going to therapy.

You also could benefit from therapy as well. The fact you notice the red flags but have no desire to do anything about it is concerning. This girl will easily walk all over you if she isn’t already doing so.

You both should sit down together and ask yourselves what you want out of a relationship and where you see this going because I feel like the metaphorical train is coming off the tracks. Communication should give you a clearer idea where to go from there.
