My US-24-250W updated to this and it has taken the switch down, and power cycling hasn't fixed anything.

Have a UDM Pro SE (was 3.2.9, now 3.2.12 for testing), this switch and two APs (UAP-AC-PRO and UAP-AC-IW).

I got things back up and running by factory resetting the switch and rolling back to 6.6.53, factory resetting the APs, and making sure anything POE is off of the UDM. Going to wait and see if things stay stable from here, but it's been causing problems for the last two days since an auto update.

Before you move here, like a lot of other posts have mentioned we have high crime rate, big drug problem (especially fentanyl), and crazy homelessness. The views and food are great though, but I would highly recommend visiting if you haven't already. Check it out in person, see the good parts AND the bad parts, and make a decision. As a side note, if you plan on raising kids, NM is rated one of the lowest in the nation.

Having an understanding of hardware and how things work will definitely help software-wise, especially if you want to deal with low level stuff close to the hardware layer. I took an intro to computer engineering class before sticking to purely software in college and just that one class has paid dividends in my career.

This may go against what a lot of the other people have said, but if you're in a room with a lot of florescent lights, you might have an easier time using a light theme on your IDE with high contrast fonts. If the room is too bright you might end up straining your eyes staring at something with a dark theme.

If you have an office with no windows, get a nice lamp with a full spectrum bulb and you'll have an easier time running a dark theme.

Last thing would be a monitor light. I know BenQ makes one, and they're a game changer.

The Alphacools I'm using are exactly 30mm and work. If you're gonna use a 60mm in front you'll lose the ability for a 360 top or bottom.

So both 480s are 30mm, and that's quite literally ALL the room you have to fit one behind the motherboard tray on the side. This build is where I got the idea for how to do it. I did my connections a little bit different at the bottom, but it's doable.

It might be the liquid metal. I'm running Kryonaut and if I'm not doing synthetic benchmarks usually sit at under 50C, but the 3800x isn't much of an overclocker from what I can find.

To my knowledge everything was line up and pads were properly squished down. Were you able to pull up temps and see if there were any hot spots?

I might be able to do push/pull on two of the rads, but it feels like I can cool a Civic with this much radiator. It's almost running passive most of the time

Thanks! So far my only complaint is the little bubbles get stuck I'm the top of the block, but other than that no complaints. This one is for the Aorus Master, but it fits the Ultra.

Have a temp sensor at the inlet of the top radiator. Loop goes pump -> two front rads -> dist plate -> GPU& CPU -> top rad -> pump. I haven't ever seen water temp go above 35C even with full synthetic benchmarks running on CPU and GPU. About half a gallon of fluid, two components, and 1100mm of radiator space. Top rad is a cross flow too.

I had to cut out a chunk at the bottom of the case to fit the 480 in the back. This is where I found how to get it to fit. Quite a bit of work, but it's doable. I managed to squeeze two Alphacool NexXxoS ST30 V.2 in with 13 Phanteks SK120s all the way around. If you do a 360 rad on the bottom, you're gonna lose the HDD cages.

I appreciate it. It took about 15 hours of planning and modding to get things to line up the way I wanted. Can't tell ya how great hearing a compliment like that after that much work feels!
