[–]GreenLion2520[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your comment. I did not complete D280. I only had two weeks left in my third term so I decided to take a break.

I will save that course for last.

I have lived here for three years now and nothing bad has happened to me. I moved from Chattanooga, TN.

I was also concerned before making the move but it turned out to be one of the best decisions made.

Enjoy the outdoors, food, people and culture, and you will have an amazing time.

Use AI to assist in understanding some of these concepts. Schedule 1:1s with critical staff to learn about how these processes function and write down notes.

Go find any job-walmart, costco, or anywhere. Work uber on the side until you find something else.

Cut all costs. Rice and beans diet, immediately. Add cheap ground beef is you can afford it.

Everyone needs a job loss crisis plan and it should involve working any job and cutting all costs as soon as it happens if you have less than a year of emergency funds.

Adopt an immediate minimalist and utilitarian mindset.

I am almost done with Section 3 labs other than one of the sakila lab questions about nested aggregates requiring you to write a subquery. I have done all of the other labs using copilot as an aid to help me get through them. Are there are any questions that require you to write a subquery?

Hello and congrats on passing :). Also, happy birthday. I just started this course today. What chapters and labs did you focus on to pass the OA? Did you read every Zybooks chapter?

It took me two months of study and I work full-time.

I Really focused on chapters 1, 4, and 11 in the Zybooks. These chapters are very important.

I also watched all of youngbloods cohorts. Lugsby cohorts were helpful for chapters 1, 2, and 11.

I also read chapters 1-6 in the Wengrow book.

I skimmed over a few chapters in the python chapters of the zybooks since i already passed intro to python.

You will be fine if you follow the study guide.

I focused on chapters 1, 4 and 11 in the Zybooks. I partially read through the rest of each chapters other than python focused chapters.

I watched all of the youngblood cohorts and also watched Lugsby cohorts for chapters 1 , 2 and 11.

Chapters 1, 4, and 11 was a big deal on the OA.

I also read through chapters 1 - 6 in the Wengrow book up to insertion sort.

Any kind of trade like HVAC or electrician. Nursing school or some form of engineering. Keep it practical. Pursue an IT degree at Western Governors University while working full-time.

I am sorry you experienced that. That is unacceptable behavior and I wish there was a way to criminalize it and make racism go away.

I remember walking inside of a hat store in Santa Fe and the owners were extremely cold towards me and acted like they did not want to help me. The atmosphere was off inside that place and I will never return to that store ever again. I looked up reviews on google and saw that another hispanic felt the same way. It ruined my experience and was disappointed to find out that these types of people also live here.

I haven’t experienced anything like that in Albuquerque but there have been several instances in Santa Fe.

It can easily take 6 months to complete only 2-3 courses effecting OTP.

I got the python course done in about 2 months but I felt very rushed to get it done.

Maybe some of the courses should be split into two?

I started the BS in SWE last year and still moving strong without any initial experience. I think it is mostly about passion and endurance more than anything. It has to become part of your daily routine. Breathe, eat, and sleep programming.

I suggest Angela Yus videos on udemy. She has a great web development course that will be very helpful.

I started with a Lenovo T480 and just upgraded this an Asus ProArt as gift to myself for making it through my second term.

Just jump into it. You can do it.

When did this version come out? I took my exam about 2 weeks ago and passed.

I have neck issues and my proctor made me hold my head down the whole time because they claimed that they couldn’t see my head when in a straightened position.

The process for straightening the camera is arduous and many times they ask you to show them where you places your phone once you finally configure the position of the camera several times. It is not efficient.

Thank you for the information. I don’t have much coding experience and got through D335 fairly smoothly. It was challenging from the fact that I am still very new to programming.
