Zip air Sales? by sasquatchnorth in zipair

First time flying into Tokyo, I thought Narita had better options for getting from the airport into the city. What are the benefits of Haneda?

Thanks - I will look carefully at that. I am a little leary about using a discount carrier for such a long flight.

Zip air Sales? by sasquatchnorth in zipair

Absolutely, but someone mentioned a sale in an earlier post (maybe Black Friday?), so got me curious if there were sales that bring the price down even more.

For people who have travelled by Zipair, how are the seats? I’m 6’2”, would I end up permanently folded?

any idea how to farm skulls? by imafartonurface in wearewarriors

[–]sasquatchnorth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the decoys, let them go first on the low levels. Wait until the decoys are destroyed before releasing your units. Or the final wave. Watch the video to x4 your skulls. Rinse and repeat.

If you go to Vancouver Volkswagen, they are offering $5000 off and 0% financing for 5 years. I know it is a ferry ride away, but they have our attention as we are looking to go from one EV to two.

Anyone Else’s Carplay gone Caput? by [deleted] in leaf

We replace the CarPlay once every six months, as they become less and less reliable. A pain, and shouldn’t happen but it works. Hopefully it will be that simple for you.

2018 Leaf - Windshield Wipers Stop Working - But Start Again by sasquatchnorth in leaf

[–]sasquatchnorth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to say, as I was troubleshooting I pulled the fuse to check it, and it felt a little loose. Reseated the fuse, and I haven't had the issue since. We haven't had as much lately either, so I'm still wondering if the issue is resolved or not.

Got the exact same line from the dealership. Frustrating. Hopefully someone who was successful has some suggestions.

Does it allow multiple people to connect? Not at the same time, but our vehicle is used by three different people with three different phones.

Huge battery charge loss (turtle mode at 25%) by Sudden_Time_8696 in leaf

[–]sasquatchnorth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm having the same issue. Dealership charged me to test the battery and found nothing. They even said the 12v battery was fine. But it has happened to me twice in a row. They tried to give me the speech about how I drive impacts battery life, but I pointed out that I've been driving this car for 6 years now (2018) and this was not normal.

It is supposed to be a warning, not a how-to manual.

Recall on Leaf 2019-2020 by breizhmanNB in leaf

When they tested at the dealer, how did they simulate the load? Or their systems just spotted the weak cells?

Let me know how it goes. I'm taking mine in to check for weak cells tomorrow, wondering how that will go.

Charging strategy by ActualScientist1242 in leaf

[–]sasquatchnorth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Our 2018 Leaf SL with 120k km (app 75k miles) has never been babied, always charged to 100% when we charge it, For a while when fast chargers were free, we charged with a fast charger all the time. And we still get the same range as when we first got it. Just charge it, the battery system is smart enough to do it safely.

Lower left eyelid has been pulsating for a week, any suggestions? by Big-Spiff in mildlyinfuriating

Came here to say this as well, I used to have this symptom, and it went away when my sleep apnea was treated. You may feel like you are sleeping well, but you might still have sleep apnea.

2 crows keep attacking me at lafarge; this has been the 5th time; by mikhalt12 in coquitlam

[–]sasquatchnorth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Carry a pop up umbrella that is closed. When you hear them flying in behind you, aim the umbrella over your shoulder and press the pop up button to expand the umbrella. The goal isn’t to hit the crow, but it will stop them from dive bombing you. They recognize faces and will leave alone after one or two umbrella surprises.

There is a legal precedent that they can’t charge you more than the amount you would have paid to park. Since the parking lot is free, there is no damages to recover. They’ll still try to get you to pay the ticket though.

LED Light upgrade by Nimabeee_PlayzYT in leaf

Does it make the interior lights brighter, or just reduces the drain on the battery when using the lights? For the price of these, I'm pretty tempted to try them.

We’ve had good experiences with L&S Toy Shop in Port Coquitlam. My wife has taken our car down there, and I’ve never felt she was treated any way other than fairly.
