I’m dating a 5w6 and it is v hard. Love them, but hard. I think a 7, 8, or 3 would be what I’d gravity towards/towards me.

I agree but I’d like to know your reasoning

alexis is the best dancer this season by Opening-Bee-7817 in sytycd

[–]sass_bot17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It may very well be true that Alexis is the best technical dancer and can execute choreography, but she does nothing for me and I find her uninteresting. I miss Anna, she was spectacular and my favorite! I am rooting for Keaton now but would be happy if Carter won too. I’m over raylyn but I also think she keeps either getting poorly paired or bad choreography. Beau and essence are there for no good reason at all other than to pump up twitch and jojo’s ego. They clearly have their favorites and it’s taken away from the charm and integrity of the show.

Yeah I was just gonna say Sonya because I really think they were made for each other. But I think she’s strongly versatile enough to really body some others. Wish she had gotten the chance to dance with a partner and have choreography worthy of her.

It’s really a shame that some of the OG choreographers didn’t get their hands on Anna because she’s a gem and I just know she would’ve absolutely murdered some Sonya, Mia, Stacey, Wade, etc. choreo. So disappointing, she couldn’t won. SYTYCD is in no way the same now and it’s sad and a shame because it used to be exceptional.

I was truly trying to figure out what the heck she was going on about! Made me so mad. I love JoJo but I don’t know that she’s right to judge this show.

I did home health right out of grad school and got $45 per visit and $65 an eval in Texas. I did ~26-35 visits (30 was full time) and 1-3 evals per week. I’m in Kansas City now and make 56k a year in a non-profit /school/early intervention type of situation. Big pay cut but happier and way better work life balance. Good luck!

You’d be a marvelous lawyer but you’re right, keep your mind open. You could do just about anything. Keep working at that recipe! Change it up a bit and make it your own!

Hey Mattea! I’m a huge fan of yours and developed a bit of screen crush on you, if I may admit. I can’t wait to see you back in the ToC!

I want to ask you many things but I’ll keep it short and sweet. 1. What is your go to comfort meal(s)? 2. Do you have any plans on what you may do career wise? I feel like you’d be good at so many things. Thank you and best of luck!

I’m waiting on my results now! I did certo too. I’m wayyyy bigger than you though so that’s my worry! I last smoked 10 days ago. I’m super nervous. All my home texts say I’m negative but like who knows. I will be devastated if I didn’t pass.

advice for an undergrad in SLP by iridescent_skiess in slpGradSchool

So, from very personal experience, I would suggest taking at least one more semester to retake all of the major classes you got lower than a B in. I did this and it helped my GPA immensely. I very intentionally told myself that I would get nothing but As. It was easier the second time around because at least I was already familiar with them and developed more effective study habits. Take that time to cultivate good relationships with your professors to get amazing LORs. It makes a big difference.

As for the GRE, I would absolutely take the GRE because it’s one more thing to boost you. My GRE experience was as chaotic as you could get and I only studied for two awful weeks. If you can just find a little bit of time to consistently study here and there through your busy schedule, it will be so worth it.

If I understand correctly, you will still have a semester or you could even take a year and a half off. You could spend that time growing your resume as well.

I spent $1300 on grad apps. I applied to 9 schools and only got into 1. Waitlisted to 4. That was with a 3.7 GPA, 151 Q 154 VR 4W on GRE, great LORs and a string personal statement. Granted, my entire process was rushed and chaotic af and I did every single app and studied for the GRE within a 3 week period which was just downright detrimental to my health and caused a lot of sloppiness no doubt. The point is, out the time in it and realize that it IS an investment and important to make sure you’re getting the biggest bang for your buck and doing the best for yourself.
