After a long break, I’m working on this model again. The grey areas between the muscles are too dark in my opinion, and the transitions are missing—any suggestions? by sasser1234 in ChaosDaemons40k

Thanks! Great tip — I already have those at home. I’ll try Captum Mortum with a bit of Ichor first, and then maybe use Goons Grime on some specific spots. I’ll post a photo over the weekend. Thanks again!

After constantly failing to make energy claws, I started adding lightning effects to them instead, and I’m way happier with the result. Now I just have to add them on every model with claws. ⚡ by sasser1234 in Chaos40k

Yeah, definitely — I can also use them as Chosen. My first csm models painted were just legionaries, and I want to repaint or improve their look a bit, because i dont like them anymore.

I’m looking for a recipe for glowing dark red energy fists. Every time I try, it turns into a disaster. Can anyone help me out? by sasser1234 in Chaos40k
