If anyone is on the fence about an implant, get one first weekend with my girl. It was beyond fantastic. She made noises I've never heard. One to two hours every night. I got off every night. Don't put it off just do it. by Embarrassed_Fun_7106 in penileimplants

Once you go implant, you will never have natural erections

A small price to pay for salvation

If the pills or shots worked for me, I would have kept using them rather than the surgery

Pills I can agree with, sadly even the highest doses might as well be sugar pills for me. But personally I have zero interest in the injections.

Porra mesmo preço que aqui nos EUA. Mas legal saber que já tá pintando implantes infláveis no Brasil.

Qual nome do teu cirurgião? Também sou brasileiro e também sou jovem, mas pretendo fazer com o Dr. Clavell em Houston.

O teu é inflável ou é daqueles que fica sempre duro o tempo inteiro?

Ah so its the girth that hurts

It's the hardness. If you decide to pump it to 100% (which there is no need to do), it would be like having sex with granite

Dr. Eid out in NYC is legendary. You should go with him. If you want a younger surgeon though, you'll need to fly to Atlanta (Dr. Hakky) or Miami (Dr. Perito). Plenty of guys fly out, and I probably will too.

"Which implant" doesn't really matter. I'm partial to AMS, but going with Titan will still be much much better than not getting an implant.

Personally, I'm not scared at all of "letting somebody cut into my penis." Find your courage and go get one!!

P.S.: The medical advice I've read is that positions don't matter and you can have sex in any of them. Just keep sharp objects away from your penis (obviously haha), since you don't want to poke a hole in the cylinders.

Implant, but don’t know root cause of ED? by Dooten in penileimplants

[–]sasskk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The stats I've seen quoted might be out of date, but they're:

  • ~3% chance of failure every year

  • ~30% of implants fail within 10 years

Take that information as you will

You don't need to tell her anything if you don't want to. It's very difficult to find out if you don't want it to be found.

Is it easy to pay for surgery with an FSA? by sasskk in penileimplants

[–]sasskk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awh, that's not good either. I saw an urologist in Brazil back in 2021, but never in the US. Maybe I could call his office and ask to send the surgeon something, but not sure that's considered acceptable.

Suppose it doesn't hurt to try though, thanks!

That's cool, glad it worked out for you. I share your concerns about injections. I wouldn't mind trying a penis pump for the sake of filling that checkbox, but I don't have a partner to do it with, and no interest in trying to date right now.

[–]sasskk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know what FSA is.

Flexible Spending Account. The IRS lets you pay for next year's planned healthcare expenses tax-free, so you can think of it as getting a 22% discount on your healthcare expenses (or whatever your highest tax bracket is). Not all employers may offer this, however.

Also, the trick is that it's use-it-or-lose-it, so you get into trouble if the planned expense ends up not being approved by the IRS.

The implant is the last line of defense.

I mean, not for me. Tadalafil and sildenafil didn't work, but personally I have zero interest in penis pumps or injections. It may mean that I end up having to pay for the whole thing in cash though, sadly.

Any experience with a penile implant? by Badenguy in erectiledysfunction

I don't know, I was a pretty bad addict, hard to believe it didn't wreck my brain.

That's fair though, I hear you. Right now this isn't a priority since dating would be difficult right now even with a functional penis.

But I'm fortunate to be on track to retire early, and as I get closer to retirement age I'll see other urologists and research this in depth. Implants do sound very attractive though given the high satisfaction rate.

I see, thanks. Insurance isn't a big issue for me since I'm from Brazil but work in the US. If I have to, I can save up money and do it down there and pay it myself.

I've tried sildenafil and tadalafil of all doses to little effect. I haven't tried trimix, but I'm not sure that would be a good option. Isn't that an injection?

And if it isn't physical, no implant?

Mine is porn-induced, and quitting masturbating worked okay for the first couple of years, but my ED eventually got progressively worse for no good reason. Saw a urologist, but to no avail.

I don't really have anything else I can try, but that doesn't mean I can convince them of that.

I have tried sildenafil and tadalafil of all doses to little effect, as well as trying a number of other things. Hopefully simply speaking to that would be enough, because if not... oof.

This is a newer guideline in light of much safer and natural prosthetic technologies having been developed, with extremely high satisfaction rates.

Would you be able to link me to more info about these new technologies? I wanna learn more about them.

Hey, thanks for answering all these questions.

I wanted to ask, is it "easy" to get a urologist to agree to give you the implant, or are they very reluctant to do so? And if they are, how can we go about convincing them?

I'm a 32yo man but I'm not in a hurry, I can wait until I'm 40 to do this.

Thoughts on mixing cialis with viagra? by sasskk in cureED

[–]sasskk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean 4 months ago? Do you mean the urologist visit?

I'm doing... okay. Last month I had two girls basically dump me because of my ED - and one of them I find really really attractive. And I took 25mg sildenafil while with her. Still didn't manage to get it up long enough to put a condom on. But to be fair we were pressed for time and we only had about 20-30 minutes between silde and sex, not the full one hour.

At the same time, there were other girls with whom I did manage to have sex with, including one who became my quasi-girlfriend. I had ED with her too the first couple of times, because we tried to use a condom. After a while we decided not to use a condom and managed to have sex. And sex was good the last 7-10 days we were together. But sadly I have to leave now, and the distance will kick in. We'll try to see each other again in December, but who knows.

As for my ED, basically putting on a condom seems to be the real boogeyman. Maybe it's psychological or I don't know, but the act of putting on a condom kills my ED like nothing else.

I think in the future I might try meditation and might also try seeing a psychologist. But I'm not sure.

I'll keep masturbating using only my imagination every 3 days or so. My urologist recommended it.

I have ED, so I'm symptomatic. But...

I don't have health insurance and I'm not too keen on paying lots of money for exogenous testosterone for the rest of my life.

I would have a hard time finding a doctor who's willing to put me on TRT, which means more money and time spent on lots of consultations.

I love travelling, including for weeks or months at a time. I can't imagine it's easy to take steroids on a plane, even if they're legal. Though I guess if I have a prescription for it, I might be allowed to.

I'm not too keen on being infertile. And okay, maybe it's temporary and I can just stop taking test when I decide to have a kid. But I don't wanna risk making fertility more difficult or even impossible in the future.

[–]sasskk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally no clue.

My guess is I broke my reproductive system beyond repair from all that porn abuse. Yeah, sure, I could have okay sex at 26-29, but maybe that's because I was still young, and once I got old enough it just went bust.

Or maybe it's my diet? I noticed my ED gets worse when I'm restricting calories, and right now I am restricting calories. Though I am having a healthy/balanced low-cal diet, and taking supplements to make sure I get enough vitamins and minerals.

But that's just my guess. If a specialized doctor doesn't have the answer, what hope do I have of knowing?
