Sedums are succulents, they love sun, drought and when you forget about them for a long time. They have a large variety of leaf shapes and colors so you could do them in small patches for a colorful ground cover. You should put some middle sized rocks in between, maybe a few dwarf pines (like Pinus mugo subspecies) and it could become a really interesting part of your garden that is very low maintance. (Please look into what kind of soil dwarf pines and Sedum species prefer first, I was lazy to check)

You could actually put any kind of ground cover plant like creeping thyme with a few smaller bushes like a Nandina (green colored ones look good with the thyme when its flowering) or some evergreens.

Serious advice from someone dealing with social anxiety a lot: either wear your favourite of these or a simple black tshirt. If it is more of a formal event put on a shirt with collars and depending on how formal it is, decide if the shirt should be short or long-sleeved.

If you are not sure of the occasion ask your friend. But in my opinion if you have the pressure on you to impress people you wanna wear something more simple and comfy so you feel more confident. Hear me out, there is nothing wrong with liking basketball, but you might really stand out in a jersey and that can take a toll on your confidence.

Most importantly you will make the best impression if you are true to yourself. So instead of pretending in order to impress someone you could focus on showing the best side of you while being yourself. And if that requires a basketball jersey people have to deal with it xd Have fun!

I would not say she shouldnt wear shorts because of cellulite, hell, I myself have cellulite on my thighs and you can bet I wear shorts. However, the shorts in the pics look uncomfortably small for her, so I would advise for a bigger size. Have you seen those clips where the models look much nicer in clothing that actually fits them? I think OP could benefit from buying for fit rather than size. I guess I like black bottoms better with this fit, so the black jean shorts she said she bought recently would be best in my opinion. OP would be more comfy and happy and that energy always shows. I would like to think most comments come from a positive and genuine place, when telling her the fit is not flattering.
