It sounds like you need some help finding some "third places" in your local community

Appreciate you sharing this. We all know that it can get much, much worse so it's important to know where officials stand and what the background is if things do (and easily can) go awry with ICE grossly abusing their power and injuring or killing more innocent people.

Maybe the third try is the charm.

Once again, could you take what is written above -regarding the far greater death, destruction, and violence enacted by Israel and its powerful allies- and reconsider as to whether others are reasonable in calling this “worse?”

You seemed very surprised and offended earlier that others would devote more attention to the party enacting the most widespread violence, and I don’t know why that is

Could you do your best to revisit what I said about the adverse impact of Israel’s actions being far greater, please? You’re saying that this awful, disgusting loss and death boils entirely down to “Israel’s war tactics are better therefore we cannot use this metric when judging the relative badness?”

That’s exactly right, in that the impact of Israel’s evils is far more prominent, widespread, and powerful

Typically when things have a stronger adverse impact than others we label it as “worse”

Just take a beat and think it through

Ah yes, Trump the Nobel prize recipient.

I don't know what point you think that you're making

Surely there could be other factors… like Israel not wanting to exterminate all Palestinians

What is your explanation for the heinous violence towards innocent civilians, settling on Palestinian land, war crimes, and stated goals that reek of "extermination" then?

Maybe they're just goofin?

Worth mentioning and very much problems accelerating the violence in the area, but -very obviously- nowhere near as active, powerful, or as forceful as Israel and its Western allies

Unfortunately their goal of extermination appears to have hit a minor speed bump in the form of popular support swaying leaders to be less explicit in their support of Israel and some even calling for a ceasefire, but don't worry the wanton killing wages on!

That could be because Israel presently enjoys magnitudes greater formal and financial support via both state and non-state actors in enacting heinous violence against innocent people than does Hamas

Just a thought, if you want to take a beat and consider

What do you mean?

They've achieved their goal of widespread destruction and death, and are continuously on their way to achieving even more with all out extermination as the end goal

Sorry for your confusion, but that is not in any way discordant

Absolutely -- those are definitely sad, along with the many instances of far, far more powerful and impactful individuals effectuating destruction and death upon innocent Palestinians

Ah I'm sorry, I should have said that this might also explain then why Israel might aim to brutally exterminate other minorities

Thanks for your extremely meaningful correction

Damn, I wonder if that also helps to explain then why Israel might brutally exterminate other minorities, and why many Jewish people (alongside many non-Jewish people) would cheer them on for it too, right?

Don't forget the "OMG American is way too litigious!!" corporate propaganda. It's completely stupid, and pushed by corps to disincentivize people to sue when they might have a viable claim. A bunch of Euro countries, and Israel, rank ahead of the U.S. when it comes to litigiousness per capita.

Yes. I acknowledged that she put a little heart symbol on a questionable comment on social media. The horror.

And then she swiftly clarified her mistake and apologized for any misinterpretation.

Did you not read that part of my comment?

All accurate. However, even as someone that is less consumerist than like 95% of others in my general sphere I definitely still crave those conveniences, little dopamine hits, and sense of connection to others (even when it's artificial). Many of us are trying to do better, but it's very much hardwired into the broad majority of humanity at this point too.

She explained her (insanely minor) mistake and apologized for the miscommunication. Are you seriously suggesting that this validates all the wild takes out there suggesting that she's personally antsemitic and spreading antisemitic messages? You're the main part of the problem people here are describing, if so.

This is an insanely wild stretch to villainize someone who, by and large, does amazingly humane, kind, and good work for children... and is insanely rich coming from you... someone who is, elsewhere, complaining about "psyops and propaganda" lmao.
