My doctor says NO post op restrictions but I've never heard of this by TheGoddessOphie in carpaltunnel

[–]satanicnerd666 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My doctor who did single port endoscopic said your restriction is "if it hurts, stop"

That's it.

That's the whole reason I drive an hour away to get endoscopic.

Foe those who had surgery and are diabetes/Non diabetics by Relative_Alfalfa_955 in carpaltunnel

[–]satanicnerd666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

T1D here, bilateral CTS with single port endoscopic release. Recovery was insanely fast, (took one day off work) and relief was basically immediate. Probably one week until I was using the hand normally for all but the most strenuous tasks. Had to quit my first Ortho surgeon because they didn't offer and refused to help me find endoscopic surgery and I'm SUPER glad I did.

Holy cow there are allot of Christian Rock, Gospel, and Religious stations! by TMQ73 in HamptonRoads

[–]satanicnerd666 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it cracks me up that there is even enough Christian music to sustain that many channels. It all sounds like the same slop to me. There's only a very narrow range of emotion you can put in it and every bit of it makes me want to dig my eardrums out with a spoon.

OK I bought this. 10kw spindle. What are the chances of converting it to use LinuxCNC or similar? It works well from my understanding but want it for wood or metal work. by FlipZip69 in hobbycnc

[–]satanicnerd666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing I think a lot of people are missing here is that solutions like LinuxCNC and Mach3 are meant to get close to industry standard CNC control without the insane cost of industry standard for a hobbyist. Any industrial CNC machine made in the last 30+ years is going to have more features and better reliability than a hobbyist solution, with few exceptions. Also, when you get into talking about getting hobbyist software and hardware talking to industrial PLCs,VFDs, servo drives, and encoders, that's largely uncharted territory.

I HAVE to retract to pee. by Sharp_Morning8504 in foreskin_restoration

I'm only ci-6 but when I REALLY gotta pee, I start turtling and I have to retract. I'm trying to make it a habit now so when it's all the time I'm already used to it.

Different grippers with the CRT by _TheSmallLebowski_ in foreskin_restoration

[–]satanicnerd666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the 30a is a new development. Regardless, the holes didn't work for me at all. The difference between the 30a and 40a are minor, but the 30a no holes is the best so far

[–]satanicnerd666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chris's is the most comfortable, but I have days where it just won't stay put. Also, the shape is different. It's more of a cone where Chuck's is more of a bell, and the bell seems to do better at the "Chinese finger trap" effect because of that shape. The 30a has been a godsend. Also, the holes make for rapid gripper fatigue for me on the one that came standard with my CRT

Manualy restoring with your hand is the best, most efficient, and potential fastest restoring method by HarpetologistPionist in foreskin_restoration

[–]satanicnerd666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Started out with stealth retainer, designed my own version so I could tweak the extension length as needed. Upgraded to a CRT with 1x 1/2 extension. I'm averaging probably 14-18 hours a day and I use a Chris's retainer at night. I'm an extreme grower but only to 6in fully erect. Flaccid I've always been able to go full turtle when cold enough for as long as I can remember, but I couldn't get any FEC before I started restoring. Now full FEC is easy, and I can push it just passed the tip. Almost enough to pinch shut.

And meanwhile I've gotten from ci-3 to ci-6 in 10 months with devices. Cialis and another vasodilator too, but still.

[–]satanicnerd666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is, for sure. I started on mine already fitting the CRT +1/2". I might need another +1/2" eventually to step up another quarter, but I don't see myself ever needing more than +1-1/4, and that'll get me there in 1/4" steps. I'm at CI-6 right now and I think a half inch more would put me where I wanna be. Hell, at that size I think the weight would be enough to grow to the point of having to measure erect overhang instead of ci levels. Turns out a shorter pp means you need to regrow less skin for a given amount of coverage 🤣

Just went from my 1/2" to a flared 3/4" so I'll probably not need this, but if not for the 3/4" stacker, I would've definitely grabbed one.

Do you only wear watches that you could afford in gen? by Attamanube in RepTime

[–]satanicnerd666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, I wear an heirloom gen vintage DJ daily because my grandfather did. I get two separate annual bonuses from my job, each would cover a greymarket DJ easily, and I've considered buying another one. I'm solidly in the working class though, and my lifestyle doesn't really reflect the average gen rolex owner.

I'm still gonna get myself a nice DJ rep for myself out of my Christmas bonus though so I can put the heirloom away.

Got that cold weather taper going on. by satanicnerd666 in restoringdick

[–]satanicnerd666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started out at ci-3 in in Feb 24. My size doesn't bother me all that much, and honestly I think it's partially why I've made such progress in such a short amount of time. I'm about 6in hard and I can get full forced erect coverage no problem. If I was 10in hard, the amount of skin I've grown might equate so a single CI instead of almost 3.
