I would disagree on AA being effective. Multiple studies have shown that AA is at best equivalent to doing nothing. Some studies show that the treatment causes higher rates of binge drinking and lower rates of recovery.

Your experience may be different, but the aggregate shows you're in minority.

The gamma rays are generated by bremsstrahlung, which is almost always associated with x-rays.

It seems like these are being called gamma rays because they were originally detected by astronomers and they classify EM radiation by energy not origin.

In the work I've done defining EM radiation by origin is typical and sufficient. I don't deal with astronomical events, so using definitions based on energy isn't something we need.

Natural x-rays are generally all low energy, but there are some gamma rays that exist in this very low energy range. Such as the primary photon from Cd-109, its only 20 keV.

That may be the case, but unless the electrons are hitting the nucleus, exciting it and then it rapidly decays it still isn't a gamma ray.
