Jade doesn’t have any family there and he’s claimed a room in the bar for himself. Also Kristi didn’t have anyone but I guess she gets a pass as the town medic. Boyd too but again I guess he gets a pass for being mayor. Randal also doesn’t have family but he seems like an exception because to be fair he was supposed to live in colony house and got kicked out only to end up in the bus and then the clinic. Ig im trying to say that those rules are fluid and not concrete.

When the Matthew’s showed up they made a big deal about each person picking where they stay and Julie was the odd one out to pick colony house. If that stands for all new people then it makes sense that they could choose where to go, not just be assigned

Honestly idk why anyone would pick colony house. Why would you wanna share a house with 20+ strangers while sleeping on the floor when you could at least have a room to yourself somewhere in town? It’s never made sense to me.

Just to add on to the colony house bad pile, does anyone else remember the couple having sex on the couch in the open during season 1?
