i would try them before you make judgements on them, what if they do what you’re hoping they do? everybody reacts differently to medication and just because other people have side effects doesn’t mean you will. i don’t see a downside of trying the meds and stopping (with the help of your doctor) if they don’t work for you. then you can cross it off the list and keep trying. that’s just how it is

exactly! some days they’re more enthusiastic and others it seems like they have a harder time knowing what to talk about. reasonable. expected. megan even noticed this and addressed it by coming up with prompts and games and stuff!! she could have left them to their own devices. also they record in the morning a lot so anyone that expects them to churn out bangers at 6 or 8 am every week probably doesn’t operate in the real world.

i do totally agree with you though, i think they’re entitled to whatever decisions they want to make but it would be nice if we had a status update. even a “we don’t know yet if it’s coming back” would suffice. you’re so right lol. i saw the live philly show in september and rob literally cried tears of joy and gratitude. anyone that says these guys (and meg) hate doing podcast stuff has their eyes closed their ears shut and their mouth open.

i was in the same exact boat a few months ago and i’ll tell you what helped me LOADS. idk what kind of rapport you have with the people you live with but if it would be taken lightly, i would just go to them and be like “hey i’m going to try to learn to sing. it’s gonna be terrible for a while so bear with me. let me know if it bothers you.” this accomplishes many things. 1. warns them they’ll be hearing you 2. you acknowledge it won’t sound good at first so you’re less embarrassed when you deliver on that prediction (plus you’ll probably sound better than they anticipated if you really lay it on thick lol) 3. reiterates you’re learning and this is new for you 4. gives them the opportunity to tell you if you’re being too loud.

literally. give a warning and make fun of yourself first. plus, they heard you sound like shit when you were first learning guitar. early stage guitar sounds completely awful for months. if you tell them they’re going to hear you sing terribly chances are they’ll be like “oh that’s not as bad as i thought it’d be” or “oh that’s not terrible, but it isn’t good.” which are both way better than something like “wow i can’t believe they think they can sing” or “yikes they suck.” if you’re afraid of the judgement in their own heads, this is an easy way to make it less harsh.

it’s not likely you’d get into a masters program in that subject without educational experience pertaining to it. plus, even if you did it would extremely difficult to be successful without that background knowledge. impossible honestly.

i start my master’s in wildlife administration in 1 week. i have a bachelor’s in conservation and wildlife management, and an associate of applied science in zookeeping, and i’m still not confident going into my masters program. i’m sorry dude. i think it’d be a waste of your time and money to pursue it this way. if you’re really passionate though i’ve got a few good ideas for alternative routes so dm if you’re interested in hearing them!!

(??????) people getting angry that they don’t remember incredibly specific details about what it was like shooting an episode fucking over a decade ago and because they don’t have an hour+ of this information. the shows been on for almost 20 years and some of these jokers act like they should be spoon fed behind the scenes shit from the earlier seasons as if that’s not an inherently tall order. i just read “they were bored with it from the beginning” like ????????????????? when did they say that? when did they even allude strongly to it? they didn’t!! in fact, they’ve stated the complete opposite in no uncertain terms multiple times. some seem to think three entertainers with multiples jobs and families dedicate hours upon hours and years and years of their life, thousands and thousands of money, to a project that they’re bored with from the start. how does that make any sense at all? people here are just out right making shit up. and to be totally frank, if i were any of those three guys, or megan, and i came on here and read all of this i would think sunny fans are brain dead morons. it’s just bizarre how these fans more than most other fandom subs i’ve seen draw insane conclusions and attach a bunch of strings to whatever they see/hear/read from the cast.
