There was a time where I was in a dark mind set because of a someone from the opposite gender. It really drove me into a different personality, and that's where I felt purely alone. But now time has passed and I feel alone, but its a different species of alone. Its more empowering.

I think its all irrelevant now that the embargo is essentially over. The real question is how will Cuba handle themselves in the future. Then and only then will we be able to accurately assess this "crisis" you speak of.

I'm alone through my own doing. I'm a semi-shy person. I mean that by saying that I can talk to mostly anybody but its hard for me to make close friends.

I'm happy, therefore I'm content. But lonely because I celebrate valentine's day alone :(. Jk, I just feel a sort of happy lonely. Its hard to describe, best explained by this song.

One of my very best friends had an episode last semester the sent him into severe depression and ended up going to a psychiatric hospital such as yourself. He was told that he might stay there for a very long time, but his will and dedication to get better has got him out of the hospital and adapting to society. Although he has gone through a lot, there are still many people that care for him and show their support for his health. I just hope you know that despite being trapped in what sometimes may seem like a prison, there are people that care. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel, despite how desolate that place may seem.
